I believe they did.
I was there.
Still think about that game.

Yes you did.
You might be the only one that didn’t know.

I expect the ratings for the game to be high.

They’ve sold the game well.

I was also thinking what if he has a family? Wife and kids.
What worries me is I would be him.
Guilty

I hope he is provided protection.
Unreal that this is the case.

If you are outside of downtown, try looking up the Winking Lizard.
Multiple locations around Cleveland and Ohio.

My son and I went to a weekend Orioles series against the Indians a couple of years ago. We stayed down by the baseball stadium and found The Clevelander to be a good sports bar.
TV’s inside and out. It’s not fancy but a good sports bar

Going to Legends, NYC, for the Bama game.

I’ll 2nd Sabatino’s.
The regular salad is fantastic. They also have a great, but expensive, seafood tower appetizer.
It’s a really old building with smaller rooms. It would be enjoyed.

re: How much were top high school football recruits in the 1980s getting paid under the table?

I remember one evening walking with Greg “Cookie Man” Cook as he went to turnoff lights in one of the classroom halls. This was back in ‘79.
Believe he got $100/week to do that 10 minute chore a few times a week.
I remember asking him if I could get one of these jobs and he sort of chuckled and said, I don’t think golfers get these jobs.

I have lived outside of Baltimore since ‘86.
Went to a couple of games many years ago with the DC chapter but have never heard Baltimore having one.
But I certainly could be out of the loop

re: Post hernia surgery question- still having some discomfort

Thanks.
One day I don’t notice it at all and the next it feels tight with a little discomfort. Nothing I can’t live with but just want to make sure it doesn’t reoccur.

We get them a couple times a year up here in Maryland.
My response is simple and they leave.
“I’m a devote Catholic and that is not going to change.”
They thank me and walk away

I didn’t have anything protruding. When it started I just had intense pain. First thought was maybe kidney stones.
All my doctors are women and I was a little reluctant to have them feel all around and not find any lump in that area.
I know most surgeries will have a little lingering effect.
Still haven’t had the guts to start back sit-ups. May never.

Post hernia surgery question- still having some discomfort

5 months post surgery. Laparoscopic procedure.
Nothing like the pain pre-surgery but I have a continued tightness and light discomfort. Makes me tentative to push exercise or certain activities.
Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t want to go to doctor for nothing. Thanks

I went to the Lioncore website.
How much do people take? In other words, how long does a bottle last? How often do you take it? Daily?
I have about 20 lbs I would like to lose. I know, I know, exercise and stop eating.
For me it’s a daily fight. Thanks

A close friend of mines Mom lived next door to Jim Thorpe in Akron, Ohio.
I remember her telling us when she was a little kid she used to sit on his knee as he would bounce her up and down. This was back in the late 60’s, early 70’s when she told us this.
Wish I could go back and ask her more questions.
Thorpe was a complete freak.

Look up Munster Go Home.
Obviously a movie with The Munsters. First movie I ever saw at a drive-in back in mid 60’s.

Not surprised you didn’t know much about Cape May but it is a gorgeous little ocean town. Big bucks there.

Yea. Stowe might be a tough place to find a bar that carries all the games.
