Well your coworker is an imbecile. Oregon has been playing without two of their top receivers for most of the year. Their offensive line has also been ravaged by injury. Yet, they still have the 13th ranked offense in the nation. Sounds like Stein knows what he’s doing.

Ryan Walters should up there as well. Produced great defenses at both Mizzou and Illinois. He’s in his first year at Washington and has them ranked in the top 20 nationally. He had rough time as HC at Purdue, but he’s a damn good defensive coordinator.

Yeah, after OU won that greatly diminished any chance of both ND and Miami making it. Bama winning would make it pretty much impossible for that to happen.

I read that the chairman said that Miami and ND were in the same pod of teams. If that’s the case, Miami is pretty much screwed. You can only use head to head results if the two teams are in the same pod. Given that the chairman said they were in the same pod, unlike last week, and they still kept ND ahead, it’s hard seeing them jumping ND.
