His name is Marrok.

I liked it. Some people complain it's filler, but you had to establish that the New Republic isn't devoting ships or resources to this investigation, so it's all up to Ahsoka and the gang.

And they continued to build on the fact that Shin (the apprentice) and Morgan do not like or respect each other, which is going to come into play I suspect.

There’s a pretty established track record of Sith apprentices turning on their master. Once you take on an apprentice you better keep your head on a swivel.

Morgan is the night sister. Her master is Baylan.

I guess eventually there will be a payoff and they will tie all these shows together but it seems like they all start off really slow before you get to the meaningful story.

Thru Episode 3 and no Thrawn or Bridger yet, maybe we will get to see them in Episode 8

I really enjoyed last nights episode. It was definitely a filler but we still got a lot more out of it.

Sabine is definitely gonna be using the force by the end of the season.

We know that Morgan and Baylen are trying to use the hyperspace ring to get to Thrawn, and it was great seeing the Purgils. They’re massive!

Hopefully we get a glimpse of Thrawn and Ezra next week.

There’s definitely something about Marrock. I can’t see him being Ezra, but I’m sure he will reveal himself to be someone of importance.
One of the things to pay attention to is the helmet scroll at the opening credits. Marrock and Sabines helmet are in there. Marrock is blue and Sabine is red.

That's my problem with a lot of these Disney+ shows I've watched. A limited eight episode season has no business having a 37 minute filler episode.

Anakin's dead dead by this point in the timeline.

He will be a holocron or a flashback.

Also, anyone mad that the ghost hasn't been seen yet? I fully expect Hera to have enough of the senate bullshite and get zeb and chopper on the ghost and pull up on someone.

I don't think it's Ezra either. However when they encountered the purgill, Marrok deliberately looks back at them while they fly past. Probably a red herring put in by Filoni.

I feel like this is a live-action version of Star Wars Rebels but they’ve killed off all male characters and all that’s left are girl bosses.

Marrock being Ezra seems like a wild, unnecessary story.

I think we always hype ourselves up for these new, interesting characters to be unveiled as a big dog, and it usually isn’t.

Kanan was killed off.
Zeb is a member of the New Republic Rangers (we saw him in the last season of Mando) so unless he comes in later we know where he is.
Ezra and Thrawn are the objects of the search.

That's pretty much all of the male characters from Rebels.

I had to go back and watch the epilogue of Rebels to see that they called Kanan and Hera's son by name in it. Interesting that they brought the name Jaycen back for him.

Well, I guess this is how things will go now for all these series. Is a bit of a slog, but not to the point of turning it off. Episode 3 was not great or good but it was not horrible. Very midland, filler episode getting characters from point A to point B.

Well, we got confirmation that Sabine is at least somewhat force sensitive.

That’s a pretty good overview.
I actually turned the episode off midway and went to sleep, then finished it when I woke up.

I’m not giving up on it, but I’m also not counting down the hours to the next episode.

Couldn't get this out of my head after the beginning.

Also, they have a 5 minute blind fighting scene and not one mention of Kanan?
