I just posted the same thing in the other thread. The best one I’ve seen so far.

Dune 3 will move or it will flop. And the mouse will pressure IMAX to pick a side.

IMAX already picked Dune because they chose the date first. WB said this week they still plan to stick with the release date.

You going to appease the company that is being sold to Netflix that gives no fricks about theaters or the company that quite frankly built your IMAX screens with their franchises?

There’s no appeasing. You claim the week first and it’s yours.

Avengers doesnt feel right around Christmas time. Needs to be summer for Pete's sake

I think it gets moved again. As of now, Dune: Part 3 and Doomsday release the same day. Dune also claimed the IMAX exclusivity for that week so no extra money for Disney.
Avengers, Mando & Grogu, and The Odyssey prologue.

I thought this one was okay. If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Way of Water and this one just rehashed that. I’d watch a 4th but I don’t care if it doesn’t get made.
It’s officially renewed for season 2.

Season 2 Renewed

He realized he couldn’t just run his mouth and had to do actual work.
Hopefully this allows for more time for acceptance speeches and they go back to televising all the awards. They have been awarding some technical categories before the broadcast.

Did the Knives Out movie not show in theaters? I’d think it would get a casting nom.

It had a qualifying run in limited theaters so it was eligible. I think it was left off since it is the third entry in the franchise and they are usually hesitant to recognize sequels. Or it could just be a shot at Netflix.
This one will do well financially, but if I had to guess, this is the last one we see. Cameron recently acquired the rights to Joe Abercrombie’s latest novel The Devils (fun read for any fantasy fans) so I’m hoping he directs that next.

That said, I will be watching this in 3D Friday. Might need to double up on edibles after this review though.

The Rich stuff was so unnecessary. The funeral and him showing up in the climax. The character didn’t earn that kind of hero arc

It went into effect in 2024.

It went into effect for the 2024 Oscars, which Oppenheimer won. It’s just a boogeyman.
My favorite part was Rich giving PW the bird.

I did the audio version since I drive a lot and yes, worth it. They are very entertaining. Keep going, it gets really good. Starts kind of slow in the first book.

It was a little slow at first. It picked up when he started talking to the burgermeister. He just met Skippy and now I’m hooked.

Just got out and I thought it was excellent. Good luck to anybody going up against Buckley for Best Actress.

Industry is criminally underrated and under-watched. Looking forward to season 4 next month.
I was worried after the somewhat divisive reactions to 28YL that we wouldn’t get the final movie in the trilogy. Glad to see Sony is moving forward because I really enjoyed the first movie (even the ending) and I’m looking forward to Bone Temple next month.

A third “28 Years Later” movie is moving forward at Sony. Sony Pictures has decided to proceed with the film following positive fan reactions to early screenings of the trilogy’s second installment, “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple,” according to sources familiar with the development. Series screenwriter Alex Garland is writing the script for the film and Cillian Murphy is in talks to reprise his role as protagonist Jim from “28 Days Later” and “The Bone Temple.”
