Lots of lore from the old school. The nerd in me loved it. Best explanation of the force I’ve seen. Things George Lucas said years ago about how it works. Only thing I didn’t really care for was the space saber scene lol.

Yeah that was dumb… all they had to do was shoot the wing and Ahsoka is fricked.

One thing I hate about the post OT timeline is that the writing is making the new republic look like total incompetent douchebags, which I get why they have to do it because they need to provide context as to why it was so easy for the first order to assume control by the time of the sequel trilogy. In theory it’s supposed to make the shittiness of the sequels more appealing like what Clone Wars did for the shittiness of the prequels, but all it’s doing for me is making what was accomplished in the OT really pointless.

This was a filler episode to setup a filler episode?

He definitely seems like a twerp who’s on the not good side.
Episode was meh. 36 minutes of not that much, although I still enjoyed it and want more.


If you want good breakdowns of what’s going on, the YouTube channel “New Rockstars” really does an awesome breakdown.
He already figured out the new language to decipher what planets are labeled in the end credits.

Yea but Hayden Christiansen is already cast. There’s going to be a flashback scene(s).

I haven’t checked all the credits etc. but I’m starting to wonder if we will get a Kanan flashback.

Pretty much, but if they have 10 year old kids waiting for the next episode, they are doing something right when it comes to the younger generation.

I’ve pretty much accepted the fact that these Mandoverse shows led by Favreau and Filoni will have filler episodes but they’ll do a good job tying it all together in the end. I’m good with it.

And because of that, I thought this was a solid episode. Not great, not bad, just solid. The only thing I disliked was space suit Ahsoka taking on three ships.
