Clothing price these days are outrageous. Was in Nordstrom yesterday and a men’s jacket from Peter Millar was $800 but used is $400. It’s a jacket… how bad could it be gently used?

Do you think no one has tried on stuff you buy at the store? Or even worn it with the tag and returned it?

I worked at a mall in my teens, I’ve seen some stuff.

What kind of t-shirts are you looking for? I have several t-shirts that I've bought for $9 on Amazon that are far better than some crap I've seen for $30. In fact, many times the $30 t-shirt is the SAME exact t-shirt I bought on Amazon. The only different is the $30 t-shirt has some sort of design printed on it.

If a $50 t-shirt is your only market, then you are doing it wrong.

My husband likes those Poncho shirts. I don’t think I can get them for $50 used.

Bad thing is he’s lost weight so he went from a 3x to an XL and I guess I’m taking his old stuff to Style Encore.

Yes, I’ve bought used clothes - they can always be washed

And there some thrift shops that a better than others - even ones that sell ‘better’ stuff

Most of high end "technical" clothing for skiing is pre-owned. No issues at all with it.

I buy a lot of gucci hunting clothing from ebay/fb marketplace. Never had any issues.

I have a Filson jacket that I got from ebay. It showed up in the condition advertised.

I bought a cashmere overcoat on Depop for $60. Sent it to the cleaners and it’s good as new.

I haven't personally bought used clothes, but I see no issues with people who choose to do so.

Bought a $70 dress polo shirt at the church garage sale for four dollars.
It still has the dry cleaner tag on it

I buy 'used' LSU polo shirts at our church garage sale.

All of them I bought for like $5 each and they are still in the plastic wrapper.

Never worn, they were gifts that were never used.

Yes.

I like to go to Goodwill and donate stuff, then shop for deals. I’ve bought brand new clothes there with the tags still on them.

I stick to shirts, pants, and shorts.

No swim suits or shoes.
