You have what, maybe 30 responses in that thread? Not exactly representation of the downvotes as most clearly didn't respond. Should be a hint right there.

His pay seems extremely low. I didn't think any of our assistant coaches made less than 350k

He’s essentially an analyst. Most are only paid between $50-100k.

The man bleeds purple and gold and helped give us the greatest college football team of all time.
He certainly helped by staying out of the way on the sidelines in 2019 while Brady, Ensminger, Aranda, Burrow and Chase did the dirty work. (Special thanks to Bill Busch for extracting Burrow out of Ohio. )

And who gives a damn about down votes on a message board
All the "18 and Under" Geeks on the Rant, (Rantknockers) that's who.

They're the majority on here. (Not the older "Boomers" as some of the delusional Geeks claim)

The Rant is a board full of virgin geeks and weak cheerleader types that have never played any organized team sports at any level.

He has his flaws but he bleeds Purple and Gold. And more important under his coaching he delivered a NC. Cannot, should not, will not, deny that.

As one his biggest detractors as a HC, I have 0 issue with him being a paid assistant to do what he does best.

I don’t think Ed legit stopped trying here, he was just out of his depth and without Burrow he regressed back to the coach he was, not his fault

Kelly straight up quit and I’ll always despise him more than O which is something I never thought I would say

What if, and hear me out on this thought, he’s a good recruiter that can help the team? Did you ever consider that to be a possibility?

I explained the outpouring of love - sorry it hurt your feelings

I can admit it, no issues with that.

I'm glad we got a national championship coach assisting on the staff. And I'm glad to finally be making more than a national championship coach.

I've worked whole career for this!
