Things I remember about Bert Jones.......
In the fourth quarter, Buddy Lee got his bell rung bad and staggered off the field after taking a hit from a Nebraska Cornhusker Defensive Lineman. Or was it a linebacker? Bert Jones took over, but failed to generate any offense.
Things I remember about that LSU Game with the Cornhuskers........
In the wanning minutes of the game Bob Devaney with a smirky smile (on the televised game) as his Cornhuskers whopped my LSU Tigahs.
(hint: LSU realized if you wanna compete with the Big Boys you best not let those big talented black players from North Louisiana get recruited by the Yanks)

I like Best Buy. I bought my last printer from them. Plus I still have their tech support plan. They did the diagnostics and fixed my computer at no charge.

Yep, those best Americans understand one fundamental truth - when it comes to government everything is subject to compromise. And the goal of the Islamo-Marxism is to push push push then compromise then push push push some more - always with the goal of lowering the bar. The attraction (aka Love) began the moment Adam saw Eve in the Garden. As was originally intended, Love is the driver that leads to procreation, which leads to babies, which leads to happy families. God gave sex to mankind for his/her benefit and for the expansion of God's Kingdom on Earth.
My generation demanded that young men practice restraint in their relationship with young women. Our whole social system was geared towards creating oppertunities for young men and young women to socialize. Our Church and chaperoned school social functions (proms, sock hoops, dances, etc) was the ultimate Meet Market. The demand for sexual restraint caused young people falling in love to actually talk about who they are, what were their expectations from marriage.
Most important the culture was geared towards helping families. Good jobs were always reserved for men with families first. Families bought cars, refrigerators, and homes. The economy worked.
Love begets love. Parents became grandparents and provided valuable assistance to couples raising children. Family reunions was the stuff of memories. Children need fond memories.
Sad.
Deep waters cannot quench
love,
nor floods sweep it away,
Were one to offer all he owns
to purchase love,
he would be roundly
mocked.

But then the fact he has a Chinese wife, and the SCOTUS Birthright Citizenship ruling will benefit pregnant Chinese women here on a tourist visa the most, I doubt his traitorous opposition to the SAVE Act will change.
