I've rarely heard the argument, to be honest. I've never debated it, because it comes across as quite retarded.

quote:Chavis always had four down linemen that could generate a pass rush, and he played more of a bend but don't break style with elite CBs. More teams used straight up pocket passers back then as well. Not all, but certainly more than today's version of college football. Now it seems like almost everyone has a scrambling QB.
At least Chavis made it look quite easy, probably cause all of that talent back then

As athletic as Perkins was, he was a liability fundamentally. It wasn't solely his fault, but I remember him completely running past the QB at times, breaking any possibility of outside containment.

Why does Baker struggle with Mobile QBs?
re: ESPN Top 300 (2028)

Louisiana players are almost always underrated by ESPN, it seems. They're just sheep that think states like Texas are vastly superior, even when I've personally witnessed Louisiana teams beat Texas teams on a yearly basis. Ruston alone seems to beat one or two every year.
I've been clamoring for years that Ole Miss has the trashiest, rudest and most vile fanbase.
re: Any chance we get Jake Brown back since Davis bypassed draft to come to LSU?

0.01% chance, according to the experts.
High expectations tend to make it so much more difficult. I can't wait!

Kings are retarded
Taking additional safeties is necessary in Baker's system, due to the Star position.

Matt Mascona just said it happened
I notice Texas Tech like I notice a flea.
re: Do you watch the college world series if LSU is not in it?

Sometimes, but I'm not nearly as interested. I like the small school underdog stories, like Troy.

it was Pete not Lane that made us elite
Yeah, they haven't been the best this year. I had to start emailing every week to find out about away tickets as well. Tennessee and Ole Miss are ripping us off, btw.
