Some of y'all act like the team just flatout sucks... Over 95% of college coaches in the country would kill to have LSU's amount of talent.

Late 80s were actually pretty great! Just making the playoffs was like winning the SB back then.

I do have a lot of confidence in our young coach. I just hope people are patient with him. He's a winner.

Obviously your friends are young. I made it through the Ditka and Haslett (Haslett wasn't horrible) eras. This is nothing.

The heat is dangerous to obese, dehydrated fans. Don't ever recall a player becoming ill from the heat, at any time. They practice in the heat during fall camp in August. They're used to it.
My brother and I were at the UCLA game on the east side. We saw multiple people pass out, and a couple of them weren't "obese" at all. It felt like being on a day long patrol in Afghanistan or Iraq. It was literally that bad.
I'm normally opposed to government getting involved in such matters, but since the TV stations, the NCAA and the SEC quite apparently don't give two shits about the well-being of the fans anymore, I'm glad to see the Louisiana legislature stepping up amd doing this.

I have seen no definitive proof, but apparently there is one or multiple big donors that adamantly object to the idea of bringing Wade back. I'd personally love to see it, but if that rumor is true, I don't see it happening.
