Without even reading the thread or any of the replies, the "Two Iconic Games" that first popped into my head were........
1.) 95-94 win in OT over #1 ranked Kentucky in 1979 with all 5 starters fouled out and on the bench!
2 ) 148-141 win in OT in 1990 over Loyola Marymount.
HM's......
* 86-66 win over Alabamasucks in 1979, winning the SEC Championship and then unraveling an SEC Championship banner from the AC catwalk rafters BEFORE the game was over! (Bama HC C.M. Newton got real pissed off about this after the game)
* 99-89 win over Tennesse in 1992 in the SEC Tournament in Birmingham. (The infamous Shaquille O'Neal - Carlos Groves fight game)
* 92-90 win over Georgetown in 1989 in the Superdome, as Ricky Blanton gets a putback at the buzzer.

Looking at the schedule, there's no SWAC/HBCU schools on there and no Jacksonville State, Troy or Southern Miss. (Great Marching Band schools)
Clemson has a pretty good band, but don't know if they're bring their Full Band to Tiger Stadium.
Also don't know what McNeese and La.Tech are putting on the field or what they're bringing to BR.
A&M always does a great DRILL, but you have to be sober and coherent to appreciate their show.
Texas and Alabama have good bands, but we need their Full Bands in here.
Auburn, with their LSU Grad Band Director, has done some very creative shows, but we ain't playing them in Tiger Stadium this year.
With rare exception now, "The Boring Band From Tiger Land" will be doing what they usually do. SOBS. (Same Ole Boring Shite) Nothing really creative and entertaining enough to keep you in your seat. :rolleyes:
