Vogtle is an AP1000 and it was the first two nuclear plants completed in a very long time. The red tape was significant, but also the learning curve was significant. The next generation of nuclear construction in the US likely won't include more AP1000s. They will be SMRs which should go much faster
We know that there are better options out there.
We know our administration is too lazy to look

Saban as the HC, double Kelvin Sheppards salary

Will there be any money left for an OC and players?

Is this guy's seat going to start heating up here soon?

Stein, Hartline

And Klein. All better coordinator options.

reminds me a ton of Will Wade.

I can see that. But will wade is what LSU needed for basketball. I'm not so sure that's what LSU needs for football. But I wouldn't hate it

They have a legitimate chance to win the division especially if they can beat the steelers this week
Yea sorry for that. But it's a good post. I didn't realize Scott was coaching. I like what Leftwich is doing over there. He's a good guy to learn from and it can benefit us when people with Louisiana connections make it up the coaching ranks.
I'm not assuming anything, you are. I'm saying we don't know his situation so why judge it? Everything I said before could very well be true, neither of us know. Idk why you think we know better than him about his own life choices. You don't have all the information and you're coming off as quite arrogant

Let me compare it to someone with the average middle class lifestyle: go work a salary job for the guaranteed $100-200k vs taking a risk and opening your own business

The roster was advertised as the best ever.

By who? If you believed that then that's your own fault.

Even the very best rosters in 2025 can't compare to the depth of talent stacked on rosters 10-20 years ago
You don't know his situation. A lot of people play college ball with full intention of getting into coaching knowing they will never make the NFL. He played a lot of years for a lot of different schools. I'm guessing he probably chased around some good up and coming offensive minds thru the portal and built a lot of connections for a future coaching career that he wouldn't have developed at Harvard. Maybe he knew from the beginning he wanted to be a coach and started developing his tree.

If he had a full ride to Harvard he's probably very intelligent and independently made the decision himself rather than just doing what others told him to do

When you have a full ride to Harvard, you go to Harvard

Well if this coaching thing works out and LSU gives him a fully guaranteed $100M contract in a few years I'd say he made the right choice
I care more about sustained success than just worrying about next year. We've won NCs before. Time to go for a dynasty.

With that said, hire the best coach. Idc if he's in the playoffs or not. The best find probably isn't in the playoffs but that'll take an actual search by our AD which I don't have faith in them to do.
On another note

LSU's almost complete bust in the NIL portal last year

This is not true. Most of our class were hits except for Thompson Sharp and Anderson. The rest of the offensive guys aren't being used properly

This man’s teams were built for the 12 team playoff.

This is a good point. He would've whooped a lot of big 10 arse in a 12 team playoff
I've already been to Zion, Bryce canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Monument Valley, and Lake Powell. Sedona can't be much different from those right?
Help me out here, what does BK cheating on his wife have to do with his job as LSU's coach and why would it result in a reduced buyout?
Riding through my neighborhood in a farm truck while I was doing yard work. Stopping at anyone they'd see outside to ask if they wanted to buy some oranges. I guess we really live in northern Mexico now. I know it probably shouldn't be a big deal but it feels pretty eye opening. No putting that genie back in the bottle
