Pleasantly surprised to get Ryan through the draft. It was sounding like he’d go high enough to sign. Of course I think s good bit of that came from a questionable source but still it seemed to generate some concern.

The first baseman from Niagara who transferred to Tenn was also taken in I believe round 16. He’s like 23 so I believe he’s gonna go ahead and sign unless he just wants his kids to see him play for the vols...

His age is a big factor. He won’t be valued much more even if he starts and does well. I’d have to think those are the reasons. Plus we don’t know what offer he actually got. Maybe they’re offering 3rd round money. ...
