I bet the SEC needs to feel something to hang their hat on. Probably worst case is a $50k fine from Kiffin, and a $50k fine from LSU. No suspensions. Maybe RJ Luis banned too.

They will also begin to question whether Sankey put them at personal risk of litigation by actions take against LSU

I'm guessing some kind of ridiculously high fine for the SEC to save face.
There's too much ego in that room to go through this circus and end up doing nothing when the whole point was to show they still have power.
