typically the two parties come to an agreement of some sort, but the original deal gets broken.

The whole “Saints hate LSU” argument is a retarded one, but as a Saints fan (and LSU fan, obviously) I’ll say this is a incredibly bad look for the Saints to block a guy from a promotion. Lateral move, sure, but not a promotion.
