Interesting point. I rewatched it, and stopped the action. It does look like the throw was on target and the WR just could not get his hands up in time.

All I recall is him being a marginally decent player who got a lot of hype and love - mostly for his and his dad’s antics, but it was still pretty genuine regardless.

I feel like he is deliberately overly critical of LSU because he knows it will generate activity on his posts.
His opinion is is no better than anyone elses. Playing backup DL in college and the NFL for a few years doesn't make him an expert on QB play. If he was critiquing the DTs, maybe I pay a little attention.

In fairness, he's not that far off at this point. He has now throw a pick 6 on an open slant in both games. That's a problem that has to be cleaned up.
