I don’t see how we can’t atleast be top 10. I mean just in the first 3 weeks of the season gameday will have hosted 2 of our games. I think LSU and Lane Kiffind are good for football. Especially in the SEC where we have been absent in the title game for 3 years now.

I think JD5 legacy at LSU stops with the Heisman Trophy. As soon as he said he wanted it back it was all but over. I have visions of him fumbling against Ole Miss in 23”… So that’s what I’ll remember him by. Makes the big play but cant make the big play when it counts.

I don’t get excited about QBs coming to LSU out of high school anymore. We’ve had more success with QBs out of the transfer portal. Even Matt Mauck was an ex baseball player. The only decent QB from the state that had success at LSU was Jordan Jefferson and he shared a good bit of snaps with Jarret Lee. If you ask me I don’t’ think the kid takes one meaningful snap from under center. Thats just me though.. I hope I’m wrong.

This is the worst season I’ve ever seen at LSU and with what we’re losing hitting big in the portal is the only chance Jay has at turning this thing around or else you could see a very similar season next year.

Nate Yeski is the most over rated coach in college baseball. You can’t give him credit for Ayanson or Anderson last year. Sorry not sorry..

Don’t matter.. what he did in 2019 has never been done by any other former LSU coach. So If winning a championship is the measure stick, why not? I have to think with the mass exodus of coaches coupled with Covid year it made it really hard. You can talk about coach O at Ole Miss all you want but other than Johnny Vaught, and Lane Kiffin what other coaches have had success at an elite level. I would have liked to see what BK would have done after COVID.

LSU always lets us down. It happens in all sports. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the hype surrounding the football team is smoke and mirrors.

Your 3 best players.. Milam, Curiel and Brown are all draft eligible. Will be looking at a completely different team next year. I’m expecting Serna and Braun will have to step up.

We’re 33 games into a 56 game season. This is just who they are. We won the title last year on elite starting pitching and great fielding. We have neither this year and we’re minus Bear Jones.

Why does everyone shite on Ed O? Idc how much help he had in 2019.. He gave us some good years. Much better years than Brian Kelly did.
