If it goes through, this is a HUGE get for the DL.
4 teams have brought in more than LSU.

LSU has 38 commits and lost 32 players to the portal. It would impossible to have a successful program if you didn't replenish the numbers that left.

He doesn’t know anything. Ignore him.
Agreed. This feels like a leverage play to get some more money.
Good pickup for AU. Buddy is a good player and earned some PT as a true freshman. I was hoping he would stay and be part of our rotation.
How McFadden didn't win the Heisman is baffling to this day

Makes sense with Hankton
I don't think so. He sounds like a grounded guy.

Worst case, he gets into Spring practice and runs with the 2s, gets in the S&C program over the summer, sits and learns Kiffin's system and is in the room with Dane, CWJ, and Lane learning how to be a better QB. He doesn't play and hops in the portal as a much better option for a team that needs a starter.

Best case, he comes into the program and just lights it up and ends up being a starter for LSU.

Neither is bad.
That's a lot of snaps and only 1 sack given in the B1G.

Definite take
With Texas going all in for Arch's last year and Oregon going all in on Moore's it's hard to think he won't land at either of those two places.

That said, I didn't think we could pull Longstreet either, so you never know.
Tim Williams came out of U-High at 6’4 235ish and Saban turned him into a beast as a situational pass rusher off the edge.

If the talent is there, bring him in and get him in a legitimate S&C program and see what happens.
Your threads are literally the reason why two of my staff, my brother, and my dad now visit tigerdroppings. TYFYS

He's outperformed most people's expectations
I think Oregon if Moore leaves, Miami, Tennessee, and re-signing at USC all make the most sense.

Oregon got Raiola, but Longstreet could compete and beat him out

Miami loses Beck but has a good backup that Dawson likes alot

Tennessee has nothing and they don't think Aguilar is going to get the waiver, so this might look real good

USC was expecting him to complete with the returning starter and possibly beat him out.

If he's willing to sit and develop, then add LSU into the mix.
wow, OM was working hard to flip him out of HS. Surprised they didn't push to get him now.

They were all highly coveted and highly ranked. So which one was it… or was it a combination of both? Maybe it wasn’t either of them and it was a scheme isssue

They were all overpaid to underperform last year. When you have that many hit the portal it tells you that when they met with the current LSU staff they were either told that we were going a different direction or they would have to take a paycut. Maybe Davis accepted the paycut to develop under Wolf and Cregg.
Prob QB3 there. I think they signed the QB from Colorado State right before Clark committed to LSU.

He entered the portal and had NO offers…….

He never entered the portal.
This isn’t a prediction. It’s a report that he committed. That’s a big difference.

Nothing is concrete until we see Sam post something or LSU officially announces it.

Apparently Tenn. is continuing because they didn’t hear it from Leavitt’s camp

My opinion, it was meant to be a DM with how fast he took it down. If it was a troll, he would’ve left it up.
