I've been retired for a year and haven't gotten bored yet? What do I do with my time? Whatever hits me at the moment.

The fight I'll never forget was the '82 bout between Boom Boom Mancini and Deuk Koo Kim. That was a brutal fight, and I mean brutal, that ultimately cost Kim his life. The fight should have been stopped in the 10th round. Within months of Kim's death from brain injuries, the referee and Kim's mom committed suicide
The futures and spot markets set the price of oil. No doubt Trump's actions in Iran have affected supply and influenced the markets. I agree that he needs to end this Iranian fiasco asap but he can't just write an EO setting fuel prices. Saddens me when I see conservatives advocating for government price controls.

That edited clip was from 2008, one of his first appearances when running for Congress. If you see his full comments he corrected himself and said he meant migrant workers.
It's almost been a decade. Find some new material.

No, it was quite easy.
The LSU fan base is passionate but some people generate a toxic mind hive on TD with their constant negativity. They are not representative of the fan base as a whole but they believe they are the smartest and most righteous.
I took a $49 round-trip from DFW to Chicago for a Cubs game and $80 round-trip to Miami for a Marlins game. Spirit, I will miss you.

They will hate the next guy. They've always called the GOP nominee a racist, Nazi, fascist, etc. Even the milquetoast conservatives like Romney and McCain. In 2028, the new Hitler will be Vance, Rubio, or someone else. They've been doing it for the 45+ years I've been able to vote.

Check his voting record.
Draw horizontal and vertical lines, take population into consideration. that will divide the state into six parts.

Fleming called Trump "reprehensible".

"Donald Trump's comments are reprehensible," Fleming tweeted.

Not exactly what Fleming said, and nice context you provided there.

ETA: That Fleming quote was from 2016 after Trump made his "grab them by the p****" remark, which even Trump admitted was inappropriate and issued an apology.

quote:

Fleming's campaign also did not say if he will continue to back Trump

"Still, Fleming told KSLA his support for Trump is not wavering.

"For me, it's clearly Donald Trump that's the choice," he said.

Fleming said he won't withdraw his support of Trump because his opponent Hillary Clinton's actions involving the use of a private e-mail server while serving as Secretary of State are worse than Trump's words.

"Everybody knew going into this that Donald Trump was not an angel. He's not a Choir Boy," Fleming said. "However, as far as I know, he's never done anything criminal. We know that Hillary Clinton has."

It's not like he's doing a full out "Coaches of the SEC" centerfold. VF is apparently interviewing him for an article so they take a photo to accompany said article. I'm not exactly sure I'd call it a photo shoot. You think Saban never did an off season interview w/photo?
It's ok. He works for the SPLC.

OP said FIL had mobility problems on long walks. I'm also somewhat limited on long walks and elevated terrain (bad back and ankle). Yet I just finished a two week vacation to Ireland and Paris where we walked 6 to 10 miles a day. When I needed to sit for a few mins I did. When the wife and daughter wanted to do a walking food tour where the group pace was set by a guide, I stayed behind. To imply we shouldn't have gone because I'm not as spry as a 20 yr old is ridiculous.

FIL knows his limitations and wants to go. Why shouldn't he? No one is suggesting he spend his entire vacation at a Cafe. I was stationed in Italy for 3 yrs. There is plenty of accessible walking. The OPs family can have a great vacation at either destination.

Demographically speaking, they're about the same. But I would chose Italy. I'm 65 and if my kids/grandkids wanted to do something and I couldn't physically keep up, I'd find a nice little Cafe and let them do their thing.

We had a 49 min window landing in Charlotte before boarding an international flight. We made it before boarding commenced. However, we only had to walk to the neighboring terminal, it wasn't a long walk.
In fairness, Kennedy has been in Congress 9 yrs, ie 1 and a half terms, not decades.
