The same fanbase that guarantees the best college football atmosphere in the first half, then leaves to beat traffic. That finicky bunch?

The fanbase of the only 2 loss team to win a National Championship since the start of the BCS era should never give up hope merely because they suffered multiple losses during the regular season.

And don't give me "it's who we lost to" as an excuse for your doom and gloom attitudes: we lost to no. 17 Kentucky and unranked Arkansas at home that year.

The season isn't over. If this team manages to win out the regular season, they are in the playoffs, no matter what happens in the SEC Championship. (see Bama last year).

Quit your bitching, and let's just have some fun. It's not like we expected to win anything of importance this year. The foundation is being built, the house will come soon enough.

You can blame this on ole Less Miles!

How many years were we ranked in the top 4 only to have our season end with a loss to bama???

This feels like that for many fans. 2 losses is hard to come back from with the schedule we have left.

Are you a season ticket holder? How many home and away games have you been to this season?
so if a guy doesn't have season tickets and attends home and away games, he can't have an opinion about the team this year?

I didn’t see it mentioned, but Ohio State did this 2 years ago too.

I am still hopeful. We are in it till we aint.

It is a tall task, but we still have the opportunity to beat Bama and Texas.

And the 2026 Tigers only have one loss in regulation.

I haven't given up on the team. I have given up on the playoffs.
Fix the turnovers and the "no confidence soft def" and we have a decent team, but not a playoff team. The portal players were a bit overhyped, but we can probably win 7 ot 8 games with them fixing the 2 items above.

The only people giving up are the sunshine pumpers who thought and truly believed that Kiffin was going to win a championship in the first season. Anyone with a brain knew this was an 8-4 or 9-3 season with the schedule we had. That said, this team can still put it together in and run the table in my mind, but that will require almost perfection.

There is also the hate that is constantly pouring in from the media, other SEC teams and the NCA which gives the illusion that people have "given up".
If looking at your team through a reality lens is "giving up" then maybe you are the problem.

I still believe we lose no more than two games and I truly believe we beat Bama at home.

I am in the agree category . The difference between 3 losses and 4 losses is what pushes you out of the playoffs, similar to the NFL (although that can be 6-8 losses).

Its the result of a society where everything is framed in extremes and hyperbole. As with just about everything in life, reality lies in the middle.

No, the season is not "over" just because LSU has lost two games.

Yes, two losses at this point in the season with the teams remaining on LSU's schedule make it unlikely LSU will win out. That, in turn makes it unlikely, not impossible, LSU will reach the CFP.

No, winning the NC was not a realistic preseason expectation.

Yes, making the CFP was.

Comparisons to seasons prior to 2021 are dumb. Many significant changes in the game and CFB landscape have occurred since then.

If LSU doesn't make the CFP it will be a disappointing season. NOT a failure, but disappointing. Anyone saying otherwise is simply engaging in post hoc coping. Still, that won't mean the program is in bad shape or that next years team (which hasn't been assembled yet) can't be great.

Folks are mad because a massive, unsustainable investment was made into the football program to get to the playoffs in year one. You can call it outlandish but that was the expectation.

The frustration is heightened by the entire world pulling against LSU/Kiffin in every game because of how the media has portrayed things.

Lastly, losing the way you have has been frustrating as hell. Leavitt turning the ball over every game combined coaching blunders are leaving every Tiger fan to pulling their hair out.

Why are you surprised? People have started bitching since the second play interception at Clemson and haven't stopped.

No one hates LSU as much as its own fans!

ESPN has called out LSU fans on tv before. Empty seats and fans giving up on LSU after they lose.

We know they beat the shite out of the team we just lost to. We should have won that game. We gave it away
