re: Best Game You Ever Saw Not LSU

Posted by Tdubs7 on 8/21/26 at 10:21 am to
Had a neighbor in Cincinnati that played LB at Notre Dame and we would head up to South Bend to see games with him. Saw USC at ND in 2005, the Bush Push game.
Who are the first three teams in the Top 10 to go down?
No way I would want my kid to play in that meaningless bowl game with so much on the line. JD gave his all to win games, despite having the worst defense in LSU history. At season's end, this became a business decision and rightfully so.
Free market society where people can decide where they place value, especially for entertainment events, like tickets to sporting events. You go or don't go.

Sounds like you're set. I wouldn't let traffic determine where you stay. It's no worse than trying to get to 315, I-71, etc. from the Shoe after a game in Cbus.

No one is being raped in a free market society for voluntary luxury items like tickets for a sporting event.
Been to all but Missouri and Texas for a game.

Also saw us play at Clemson, Washington, and Virginia Tech.

Neutral site regular season games in Dallas (Miami), Vegas (USC), Orlando (FSU)

Unrelated but stadiums with SEC vibe - been to games at Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan (lived in Cincinnati for 14 years)
When I hear load management now. I think of a coach who is misleading why his QB is not throwing the ball in camp, while hiding an abdominal injury and preparing for a season of WR screens.
Probably as much or more. Folks that cite "school loyalty" or the " "amateurism" that they miss, overlooked their traditional power that got the best players and often paid money under the table. Now with a wide range of alumni bases that have the appetite and resources to pony up, we'll see more parity in the game.

Of course, you need the right coach, but, for example, Indiana has Cignetti and a monster alumni landscape with the funds to dwarf most SEC schools if they choose to focus on more aggressive football-centric spending.

We’re going. Will book flights and room in February.
We were notified that we got our 4 tics for Kentucky.

Well done Iowa

Out parking and traffic is NO worse than any other major stadium

McMahon - leave him be

He sucks, but will the new coach get the funding and resources with 15% of the annual revenue sharing budget going to basketball (also assuming little appetite from boosters)?

Let’s just rock at football, then count down the days to the first pitch at the Box.

There’s only 3 schools that have won 3 or more Natty’s this century and Ole Miss ‘aint one of them, but that school in Baton Rouge is. LSU>The University of Mississippi.

Dude got promoted because of Kiffin and started talking smack about his former boss immediately. Yet, was ONLY in that position with his mediocre defense to take the reins of a CFP team BECAUSE of Kiffin. The University of “Mississippi’. I hear J-Crew restocked their khakis.
