In the event LSU gets kicked what happens to the TV contract?

Does LSU still receive money or will ABC/ESPN renegotiate the contract with SEC for a lower amount because LSU games will not be available?

LSU would absolutely have provable damage if the SEC tried to keep tv revenues from them while a member.

What team that is a near equal to us would come over?
ESPN isn’t going to accept Tulane as a replacement.
Florida state or Miami and you have an angry Florida.
Plus if you just kicked us for being renegades you aren’t taking Miami.
Football is the driver so unc ain’t worth much.

We got to ACC and change the perception of that conference immediately.
LSU, Miami, FSU, Clemson, as top football schools would stack up with the top of any conference. Baseball is amazing. Basketball is the best.
Bottom of ACC in football is better than bottom of Big 10 imo.

Big10 less likely due to academics and they are already big, but a free LSU could give them a bite into the sec to further bury the sec and could be the move to 20 with us and FSU

You're auto-eliminating the Florida schools and ignoring all the potential TX schools. But all of those big schools would be in play.

Texas and OU came to the SEC for a reason. The ACC football schools are trying to break their contract to come to the SEC for a reason.
The ACC/Big12 are MASSIVE steps backwards.

This is a non-issue because LSU isn’t getting kicked out of the SEC.

The fee basis for that contract included LSU being a member. LSU still has the top two viewership for regular season football games. SEC exposes themselves to breach by expelling LSU. They also expose themselves to damages from the athletes in the Louisiana suit. SEC is the drowning man at this point grasping at anything in an attempt to hold onto power/authority/control. Their own commissioner can’t even define “pro athlete” yet filed a petition in federal court alleging LSU recruited pro athletes.
