They lsu players receive a 1099 for NIL and a W2 for revenue sharing. The W2 make them an employee and they can unionize

Meanwhile, no one can or will define what a pro athlete is. If they connect it to payment for play, the college athletes can unionize and demand collective bargaining for everything. The NCAA will be over.
