Meanwhile, LSU has monetized a slice of football media-rights value in a private-equity structure tied to the next SEC/ESPN reset. Independence stranding those rights in Birmingham, or that delivers a smaller standalone deal, is not just a worse TV number. It is a problem for whoever bought that 10% slice.
LSU would probably go Independent if not Big 10

Nothing will happen. This is all bark no bite.
We are one more step toward a super conference.

That's with Lsu in the sec, and without LSU in the ACC. They would get more money if they added lsu and the sec would get less. That's not a guess, and I'm not trying to act like that thread destroyer on here (who needs another break), but you aren't pulling a program in like LSU and Tiger Stadium. There isn't a team in the league that has been as successful as LSU over the major sports, this century....Florida would be the closest.

You and I both know that the Big Ten inviting LSU it's the longest of long shots.
That was the case BEFORE all of this litigation.
It's even more distant now

Many teams would take our spot, but nobody could fill our spot as far as the brand and money we bring in.

We would get nothing.
lol, yeah, no TV networks would have any interest in signing a deal with the most watchable team in college football:
