He knew this before he typed it, he’s being disingenuous. No need to read the rest of what he wrote.

Just stop....pathetic does not even begin to describe all you Saban wishcasters.

I love that it gets folks like you all worked up.

Sexton will then use the information he’s learned about LSU and apply it to the negotiations with other clients. LSU will still need a HC. But now Sexton will know how much money LSU actually has to spend. LSU is foolish for even getting sucked in to the faux interest from Saban and Kiffin because all its doing is hurting their negotiating leverage

Your whole premise is based on Sexton not knowing how much LSU can spend if they want.

He already knows.

re: trade R. Rice for R. Dowdle?

Posted by DeathValley85 on 11/11/25 at 9:05 pm to
I’ll admit I didn’t realize it was non PPR, but I still think Rice is too valuable for Dowdle

Hell they gave Rice a goalline carry

I’d like to see the bet slips of anyone in our fan base gambling on this

The time to do it was when Saban was 65 to 1 or something. That’d be a fun story.

At these odds? Meh.
Offer Sutton or Egbuka first.

Rice is a looked and loaded WR1 the rest of the way.

You idiots just can’t let it go can you??

Why does it anger you?

It's crazy people don't get that. The only negotiation is how and when it's paid out. Kelly indicated he would negotiate - that's what he meant.

That’s not true at all, if Kelly wants a lump sum payment now he will agree to less.

That’s the negotiation. And can make sense if he intends to pursue other employment. Seems ((you)) don’t get that.

zero percent chance Saban coaches again, anywhere.

Are we actually listening to Poncho here?

I trust Poncho with my life

He could’ve responded to that question in a number of ways. He chose the option of a “resounding no” & “zero chance”. I believe Verge over Philly

Fair, I just don't really consider it definitive in any way.

Maybe Verge is just a good (or bad?) liar?

Or maybe poor Verge it out of the loop
Just when I thought I was out….they pull me back in

re: Phillytiger9 where art thou?

Yea man it’s weird Verge didn’t say “yea man we’re all in on trying to get Saban to return, full court press” in a random
interview with a local guy

I thought he was being hired on Sunday or Monday?

Certainly

Which Sunday or Monday TBD

Enough people to offset their losses for the winning line, which is the point.

Money moves lines too…I suppose it’s possible a bunch of people bet Saban at +400 and that moved it to +200

But damn, not a good bet

Like another poster said, if I were so inclined I’d just bet Dilly at +2000 or so
quote:

All this tells me is they don’t have a clue who LSU is going to hire, but think they can offset whoever it is at long odds by setting Saban at a “steal”.

Who’s betting Saban at 2 to 1?

I think the bookies just react to whatever smoke there is, fake or otherwise. I doubt they’re calling around gathering intel.

I also think this board is way overestimating the amount of people who believe Saban is returning enough to place a wager on it.

Cappy's team in Tiger is insane. Gibbs, JTT, Nico scored 100+ while Mahomes was getting a breather.

His team is gonna be a problem
Yes, those odds don’t mean anything. But it’s a little interesting.

If they wanted to take people’s money who think Saban is coming, I don’t think they’d price it at +200. Not enough juice.

How anybody ever voted for the dumbass is incomprehensible.

Versus the dem candidate, no brainer.

The issue is Landry was somehow the conservative candidate. Pretty bad choice.
