What are the chances Missouri runs the table backwards?

The 2023 team lost the series to Auburn including getting run ruled in one of the games. It sucks but it’s not the end of the world.

Go look at last year. That is the same 12-6 ball he threw last year. His issue last season was command.

It wasn’t his curveball that gave him issues at LSU.

I sure as hell wasn't expecting this

Tennessee damn near got run ruled twice last week against a team that had won 1 sec game to that point. It’s bound to happen at least once. Just hope Auburn blows their wad tonight and lsu can take 2.

Just fills up the zone and mixes speeds so well. It’s funny how much weak contact he gets on his fb that rarely gets over 90

re: Do we see Cam Johnson this weekend?

Nope. They put in a backup outfielder in before Johnson.

Is he coming in now? Announcers just said a very interesting arm but didn’t give a name.

His defense has been incredible. He makes very tough catches look routine with how fast and how good of a jump he gets.

How many pitchers have thrown 135 pitches this season? How many big leaguers threw 135 pitches last season?

Most big leaguers aren’t getting 8 days of rest between starts either.

Poche had a game where he was in the 120s. Not sure if he cracked 130 though.

Not sure why Dorsey isn’t getting more opportunities. He’s looked decent the few times out this year and was pretty successful at USF last year. Worth a shot at this point

Wasn’t he hurt to start the year? In his first appearance I thought I heard the announcers mention he had only recently been able to go.

re: Do you listen to the games?

I usually find time to watch the thurs / fri game. Game 2 depends on what I have going on and game 3 is almost always listening to it while doing yard work.

The best $160 you’ll ever spend.

re: Schmidt isn’t ready for SEC weekends

If he is going to be used as a reliever he should only start innings. Coming in with someone on seems to frick him up.
There are several pitchers that need to just throw strikes. Evans and Binge have incredible stuff, just get it over the plate and 90% of hitters are going to be outclassed.

Man, the HS baseball season is halfway over. If he was on good throwing program and its a good day, 100 isn't a problem.

As long as there is adequate rest

I watched a little of their game. Auburns defense made some very good plays early to keep them out of a big inning. Vandys hardest hit balls went right at someone.

Dutton looked good overall though. Was throwing his curveball for strikes early and was constantly ahead in the count.

He is a much different pitcher working off his slider as opposed to the fastball. He seems much more comfortable since they started pitching backwards.

Underwhelming hire. He has no experience as a college coach

It’s also March. Not exactly the best time of year to be shopping for a coach. A 10 year nfl vet with ties to the state is pretty damn solid on paper.

He has swung at some questionable pitches so far this year. Definitely not seeing it well this year.
