The argument might be this.
Fauci did NOT have the right to take the 5th amendment because of the pardon. That violation of the law was in fact furtherance of conspiracy to cover up his previous crimes, which means it's an ongoing criminal conspiracy, not limited by statures of limitations from 2014.
(in essence the crime is still in commission in 2026)
Legal Hail Mary, but would be fun to see demoncrats suffer under their own tactics.

2. When were they paid. If before they entered the portal, then the players legally probably have to pay that back.
