It's funny when Saban was hired at LSU pretty much no one knew who he was either.
Doesn't mean Sumrall is the next coming, but the fact that many people wouldn't' know who he is has 0 bearing on if he'd be good at the job.

Landry was fine, people giving him crap probably don't really listen to everything he has to say. Not perfect, but much better than Jobs Be Elsewhere.
Also, the Kirk statue proposal was done on social media, don't remember him saying that at the evening event.
Rest of the event was solid. Good philosophical discussion with college age students, pointed and direct.
Good event.

Except for the fact that if the ref's don't make the correct call of Holding on a busted coverage TD, LSU is in a major hole.
Sure, people will argue the playcalling would have changed, but we never should have been in that position against a team that USF handled.
Conservative isn't always an issue, conservative when you are up by 3 scores is great. When you are only up by 10...You haven't ended the game.
Remember this is a coach who says his players don't know how to finish.
Behavior follows leadership, and the staff didn't have "finish" in the game plan for the offense.

How many times was Clemson called for holding? LSU called multiple times.
What about intentional grounds that should have been called. On who? It called.
What about a sack, where the ball was clearly in the qb’s hand when his knee was on the ground. Not called.

Refs ignoring the intentional grounding was maybe the worst. They should have discussed it and then thrown the flag.

That is the one that really makes me think sports betting among officials is a thing. That call was a no brainer.

So refs saw a ball move with a Clemson receiver in the first half and ruled it a catch.
We score a TD and it’s not a catch.
Attempting to fix a game.
Investigate this crew.
Let’s not try and figure out how the ref in the sideline even called him out of bounds at the 1 in the first place. Browns foot never came close to the sideline there.

This. The saints had guys who were basically gymnast on the field in the 80’s and 90’s. Those were cheerleaders. The dance team was a totally different thing.

Fair, I did only see it from a distance, and his conduct in that game may not be who he is, or who he grows up to be.

Saw this kid play in last years playoffs. Jesuit was getting beat pretty easily…kid played dirty.
