It’s JUST the SaME.

Except it was nearly a decade earlier, with a completely different cast of characters. And a coach was fricking her players, not being crude to student workers.

If allegations come out that Les was fricking Leonard Fournette, then we can talk.

I here by put forth a petition to longer mention Les Miles on this board. The black eye he’s left on this school and program is more than worthy of such punishment.

The irony is that LSU’s in house counsel was the same during both Pokey and Les’s investigations. He some how escaped scrutiny in the report, which amazed me. He is
Responsible for the decision to fire Pokey and the two hour deadline. He was extremely public about it at the time. The report mentioned his title a few times, but didn’t cite any comments or recommendations regarding Miles.

I’ve been saying this for years... I know she applied, did they even interview her?

If there was no policy in place that specifically forbade a coach from having a sexual relationship with players, then this could be a bad look.

Ho
Le
shite

There isn’t a specific policy that says Coach O cant pull out his dick, whack off, and cum on Mike’s head after walking down victory hill

So, you think that would be controversial if we fired him for it?

I'll add to this comment...

It was Les' lawyers that had that report suppressed, not LSU. It was that same counsel who didn't try and fight that suppression.

The only recommendation regarding Miles being fired, that we know of, in 2013, came from Alleva based on that suppressed report. We do not know one way or the other what counsel had to say about that. And that's what I'm very curious about- was that strictly a BoS/FKA decision not to go with Alleva's request/recommendation or did counsel advise BoS/FKA to do that.

This is no different than ANY relationship between a manager and a subordinate. You CANNOT use your authority to directly quip pro quo a relationship.

Secondly, let’s talk about WHO turned in Pokey.. NOBODY MENTIONS THAT. Do some homework and reply.

Or quid pro quo, for that matter.

Gallo is a fricking hack of a writer. Every thing she produces is just like this, maybe that is what she has to do to stay employed, but her message is always the same.

I think I counted 46 articles she has written about LSU so far this year. That doesn't count the many she did even before 2021.

Not sure why Pokey was dismissed so abruptly but it burns my asse they had the goods on Les and covered up for him. Plenty of poor choices by LSU. He was a clown that ran the show around here.

True that. I figured I needed to add “relationship” because a lot of people think this only applies to business matters and not “getting your business on” matters.

Look I don’t condone what les miles did at all but he wasn’t having sex with one of his players

I would have loved pokey to stay and keep winning at LSU, but firing her is a reasonable move. The mistake was not replacing her with Dawn Staley

I dont Think trying to poke the recruiting girls is too much better.

End of the day Les coaches football not women’s basketball and had powerful friends.

Pokey should have been seen dining out more with Gov Piyush Jindal. It worked for Miles.
