This has been said every year, and in every year except 2023 pitching is the weak link.
We don't really need a qb for 2025 so losing Underwood doesn't kill us, but after that we need to get busy quickly to id a solid SEC qb.
It's time for LSU to create a DBU Collective. Get Honey Badger, Patrick Peterson, Derek Stingley, plus all the other NFL LSU DBs involved. Raise money and bring in 2-3 top tier DB prospects each year until we have a 2009-2019 level stable of DBs on the roster.

Hell they can do db camps. I bet they could be like the manning camp bringing in hundreds of kids from around the country. Pay the LSU dbs to work the camp.

He literally gone.
She looks like she's an aging Insa influencer and definitely be sliding onto some other knobs. But Harsin's little baddie is smoking hot as well, so seems like an even trade.
On3 X account reporting Harold Perkins to enter Transfer Portal. Huge loss. who else is going to jump ship?

I've said this a few times, but it is a failure on Griffin's part not to be able to trade Ingram. Part of his job is to be convincing and sway opinions, and if he can't sell just one out of 29 other GM's on trading for a 6'9 wing that's in his prime that can generate you 34+ points a night through scoring and assisting than he's failed at his job as a GM.

This. Also, Griffin made no effort to sign that center out of brooklyn I think, maybe knicks. Athletic, can defend and score. Signed for like 11-12M. Should be on our roster today.
LOL these couch jockey fans know nothing. Every story about the Pelicans breaks from national media. The local pelican press is a joke, made up of glorified fans with computers and twitter accounts.
The trajectory of this franchise changed after the '08 season. We lost game 7 at home to the Spurs. Should have fired Scott on the spot. Then the front office did nothing to improve the roster except bring in an aging bench role player from the Heat. Had a real chance to add legit players to Paul, West, Chandler, Peja, and be at the top of the west. Choked it away in the front office.
He’ll be back in La. after 1 month of an Ann Arbor winter.

Go get that Tulane QB Mensah. He’s a stud.

Da CBK effect

If it’s Kelly how did he get them to commit in the first place? We need to start throwing around the big balls of our FU money boosters. Jesus let them watch practices or sit in tne pressbox and call a play or two. Whatever the frick it takes to open the NIL spigots.

Rumor is 1.5 million a year and Michigan offered 3 million a year

So we lowballed him. Not a smart strategy.

Loyalty, being a man of your word, and commiting to a program because you believe in their development is dead now. It’s nothing more than who can pay me the most. This shite is sickening

Wah wah wah. Cry more. If given the chance If we can’t step up and meet any financial incentives offered then stop whining. Now if he just took the money and was never intended to honor his commitment then he’s a loser who will crash and burn. Integrity is a big part of being a success in life.

But if LSU is unwilling to write the check it takes then maybe don’t recruit these kinds of out of state kids.

If this is indeed true, then I might be inclined to get on board with poor coaching. But we clearly didn't hit on interior olineman. We can't consistently run the ball up the middle. This has cost us vs USC and Texax AM. A running game and we're 8-1 and top 10.

and the talent is getting better and better.

I guess you don't watch the oline, dline, linebackers, or defensive backs. There are maybe 2 players on defense who would see the field at lsu between 2003 and 2019. That's the real problem.

and making the hire we made.

Woodward shot his $$ wad on Kelly, Johnson, and Mulkey. Not much left when you get down to it.
Brian Kelly isn't the issue. Les Miles isn't half the coach Kelly is but won big at LSU for 1 huge reason: SUCCESSFUL RECRUITING!!!!!

Miles routinely fielded top 5-7 recruting classes. For several years LSU was the only real team to go toe to toe with Saban's best Bama teams. '08, '09, '11, '12 etc.

Recruting needs an overhaul. Whit Weeks would be a backup on any LSU defense between 2003 and 2019. How many legit nfl DBs are on the roster right now.

Kelly needs to overhaul recruiting. Bring back Ed Orgeron if you have to.
Cignetti is viable, but not until he wins for 3 years at Indiana.

It's time LSU/Woodward/Kelly sucked it up and brought back Ed Orgeron as recruiting coordinator. Not as a coach. Just recruiting. Because until LSU is top 5 consistently the talent won't be there to compete with Bama/Georgia/OSU/Oregon
Worst schemed offense in College Football. Formations/plays predictable. Routes are completely unimaginitive.

I swear hire me as OC. I'll just bust out the Joe Brady playbook and force Nussmeir to run read/option plays until he's good at it.
