Those stats are solid, but they’re heavily tied to role and situation.

Jada Richard was playing a controlled, low-usage role where she wasn’t the primary focus of the defense. That allows her to be efficient, especially from three and the free throw line because she’s taking cleaner, more selective shots and not being asked to create at a high level.

Lets see how is shakes out now that role changes or the talent around her drops, those numbers likely change too. More defensive attention, tougher shots, and higher usage usually bring efficiency down.

Jada Williams is walking into a different situation at LSU. She’ll have better talent around her, more space to operate, and a system that lets guards attack and create. That gives her a higher ceiling and more opportunity to impact the game beyond just efficiency.

So it’s not really about disrespecting Richard…it’s about understanding that her numbers come from a specific role, while Williams has the setup to produce more at a higher level. I hate she left but I love the replacement MORE!
