With the news of Ohio State and ND signing ~$18M annual deals with two banks, I realized I didnt know if I had seen a number for Woodside - anyone know?

LSU nor Woodside have publicly announced the exact monetary terms but some have speculated it's in the 6 million/year range which, outside of Notre Dame's deal with Sofi, is about what most teams are getting for their "jersey patch" deals

Yikes, maybe we jumped the gun. They’re getting triple that amount. Hopefully we’ve got another plan.

Could be worse. Each Big12 school is only getting $1m annually for the Monster deal.

In exchange for putting the Chase brand on the jerseys of the 36 Ohio State sports programs, the school will get more than $15 million per year

If schools like Texas, Alabama and Michigan decide to do it, they’ll be up there too.

LSU absolutely jumped the gun.

Now take into account the field logo. We had to find money and we found a lot across a lot of folks

Ohio state and nd are the only big time programs to announce patch deals besides lsu.

The LSU athletics strategy of being first instead of being best has come back to bite them several times. See NIL. They're more concerned about the PR than the results.

The Monster Logo will be integrated into the B12 patch. Nothing precludes a B12 school from making a separate sponsor patch deal.

I will wear it on my clothes everyday for a price.
I hope we didn’t make our deal too soon only to have the market quickly pass us up.

It's here. It's not going away. Complaining about it won't change it.

I gives me hope that they didn’t officially release the numbers yet. What may happen is Woodside agrees to bump the number up but for a longer timeframe say 10-12 years instead of 7.
