We all know racism still exists. And we all know a lot of southern states still wish we were segregated. We all know Mississippi, Louisiana , and Alabama are still the most racist states still to this day. Y’all have most monuments of confederate generals than Union/ united states generals. How much yall try to deny it, the confederate states only wanted to secede from the Union was bc of slavery. Holding on to an evil past is not a good look in the black community.

Yeah but Baton Rouge and lsu are more diverse than ole miss and Oxford. Ole miss is 80% white and lsu is 60% white. Oxford 67% white and Baton Rouge is 36 % white.

Until you have walked in a black person’s shoes, you wouldn’t know how it feels. In order to solve the problem, you must first recognize there is a problem. Racism is alive and well in this country. Before the 6th district was re drawn, Louisiana put New Orleans, parts of Baton Rouge, and a couple of major black parishes in the same district. Why? Bc that way they can make the other 5 districts heavily white and republican.
