Chicago is one of the few big cities I would move to for sure. Its awesome. You can pretty easily avoid the worst areas, and there are some truly amazing neighborhoods, things to do etc
The Winters would SUCK but otherwise cool city
I have family there so I have been there a good bit
Agreed.....my brother lived there for 10 years. Awesome place.

re: Is 2025 the first year in the BK era where he has zero excuses ?

If we lose the opener at Clemson, LSU fans will (rightfully) be absolutely livid. He's earned this potential spot by losing the opener the past few years.
We are expected to not only make it to the playoffs, but compete for the big 'un. Anything less will get the pitchforks out.
Not unrealistic at all. He and the CFB landscape now have led to this.
I have a feeling if he doesn't make it this year, he will probably retire.

Saturday's not looking fantastic, either.
If a DH Saturday, they'll probably start late.

I'd bet money I don't have he's not playing CFB in the Fall.
Perhaps I'll be wrong this time, but the previous 17 iterations of this song and dance prove otherwise.

Why would he even mention that?
Because his entire personality is him being a whiny bitch. It's not an angle. It's not his shtick....he's just a bitch.
It's always someone else or something else with these people.
He's a bitch.

Did Nuss mess up?
No.
He was a very good QB last year. His mistakes are mostly correctable and with another season under his belt against top-flight competition, he will only improve on those mistakes/tendencies.
Nussmeier 2024 = really good QB
Nussmeier 2025 = elite QB
He may well be the #1 pick in the draft next year if he progresses as he should.

Pathetic fans!
First of all, eat a satchel of Richards.
Secondly, it's one thing to lose a game or perhaps conserve energy, etc. for an upcoming opponent. It's a completely different beast when you absolutely tank a game.

People on here hate Schloss
I mean, those that do have a pretty good reason for feeling that way.
I couldn't care less about him. I have much bigger fish to fry than to worry about a baseball coach in Texas - especially one who hasn't won anything yet.
The optics of what he did were horrible, even though eaTme was once again on the receiving end.
I get that only he is responsible for his own future/career, but he could've done that with a LOT more class.
re: Flaujae not transferring, not leaving LSU.

This is one of the several huge positives of the NIL era. Players who may have opted for the draft have stayed - baseball, football, basketball.
It also means a team like LSU (men’s basketball) can flip from bad to really good much more quickly.
NIL, in my opinion, has been an overall positive thing for college sports.
That transfer portal, though…..

The kid updated the article, but still got it wrong....
His most impressive season easily came in 2003, when the Tigers went 13-1 and defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 47-32 in the Sugar Bowl to capture their second national championship in program history.

Whomever designed the bullpen when they rebuilt Alex Box needs to be tarred and feathered. All that money for one of the elite programs’ new stadium and that was what they came up with.
They then reconfigured it and it still seems like an afterthought.

re: Why do small schools like Houston have better basketball programs than LSU?
Posted by Pas Bon on 3/31/25 at 6:04 pm
UH had a tally of almost 45,000 students in 2022, of which about 34,000 were full-time. University of Houston is not small.
re: Wonder why Hailey Van Lith didn’t work out here?

It has been said maybe 15 trillion times….
She was playing out of position here. She’s playing her natural position at TCU, as she did at Louisville.

What he means is that, as a rule, we prefer to sign human players and not dogs that can't understand coverage schemes, speak words, or lack opposable thumbs.
