Half this board wanted Moffitt gone.

We are talking about Corey Raymond being elite, not coach O…. 2 bad years under Coach O’s epic fall doesn’t negate Raymond’s multiple years of being great

Under three different coaches. Unreal.

Thanks for that clarification. I missed that. Makes way more sense now.
IMO, Raymond was a much bigger loss than Moffitt was at the time. LSU's SC issues predated Kelly and started under Moffitt. I wonder if that was more about accountability coming from the HC office, though. I do know for a fact that there was little accountability in terms of the nutrition center under O, much more under Kelly.
I remember comments when Kelly first took over about the team not fading as fast as they had been doing in the previous seasons. Of course, that could go back to people seeing what they wanted to see. As fans, we almost always fall prey to that at some point.

I’d say more than half. Also, many on here said that Raymond wasn’t a big loss. Maybe it was a coping mechanism?

Yes I agree. I also think now that with the transfer portal and the way college football players hop, that the S&C has a lot less of an impact.
Obviously still very important, but the days of taking a freshman over the course of 2-3 years and making him an elite athlete is uncommon because they just transfer out if they aren’t playing.
Very weird times

It isn't mind-blowing. That was part of the reason everybody finally jad enough of him.

There was a major issue with our O line when Moott was here.
I don't care how strong a player is, your technique must be good to
be a good O lineman. When our line failed to get a good push against
lesser opponents, it was genereally assumed by our fans that they weren't strong enough. While strength is a necessity for O lineman, if they can't put that strength with good technique, they aren't going to effective. While I was never sure how good Moffitt was, I was sure that we were certainly strong enough to look much better than we were.
Hopefully we have corrected this situation to now have great coaching along with superior strenth and conditioning

DON'T BE BRINGING reality to this board.

I’ve said this before
TM had gotten quite lazy and entitled at LSU
Being fired woke him up.
It sucks he went to Aggieland but he was no longer cutting it here

He is a great S&C coach. He just was at LSU too long. It happens. Things get stale even with the best. That's why it's a good idea to change jobs every now and then.

BK fired Raymond and hired a high school coach to replace him

So, ain't worried about the past too much with this.
Are we looking at bringing Moffitt back? He's doing ok at A&M right now, so he'd be an acceptable return.

That’s completely made up. Do better

If BK kept the same defensive staff when he took over, he would've won a national championship. Baker, Raymond, Deronte Jones(now an NFL DC), along with the number one offense in the country = championship. No one is beating that team.

BK did what most posters here wanted. This board was full of Moffitt hate in 2021, especially after Kentucky.

They decided to fade early instead. That 2022 team got outscored a total of 78-17 in the first quarter of SEC games. They spent the entire season running uphill.

It's ok that this gets repeated here; it's a forum and people will and have every right to express their thoughts about most any subject matter.
If it hurts your feelings, get some guidance or find therapy.

Intentionally if you ask me. He was looking for a way to lose and collect the buy out.
