re: Unpopular opinion: Jim Hawthorn > Chris Blair - TigerDM
Jim was somewhat tolerable for football and basketball, but was terrible in baseball. Despite calling baseball for all those years, he never came close using correct baseball language so you had some idea of what was going on. That said, he was a true Tiger and loved LSU...

re: How many LSU fans were at the game? - TigerDM
I would say 12-15k. We were in the west upper deck and their was numerous Tiger fans around us. There was probably 30k that made the trip. Everywhere I went there were more Tiger fans without tickets than had tickets. ...

re: Jordan Rogers on Joe Burrow - TigerDM
I don't blame him for erring on the side of caution, but they aren't doing it with Kellen Mond. Completing that many passes for 5 or less needs to be looked at a different way. He was not simply delivering the ball and the receiver made yardage on their own. He was delivering the ball to receive...

re: Ehlinger from Texas - TigerDM
These watch list are the dumbest things ever, shouldn't they be watching everyone at this point in the year. Lasts years Heisman winner wasn't on any list and hadn't even started the year before. I believe Reggie Bush in 2005 was the last very pre season high ranked Heisman winner, with almost a...

re: The Rivalry Gauntlet Effect - LSU is tops in CFB. - TigerDM
The Ole Miss rivalry is definitely one way. To them we are their biggest rival, even above Moo St to most of their fans, but hardly any LSU fan considers them a rival at all....

re: Fraley getting the call up with Mariners - TigerDM
I always liked Farley and think he was overlooked as one of our great defensive outfielders. Because he got such a great jump on the ball he made very difficult catches look routine. Without a doubt the outfield of he, Stevenson d Laird was the best we ever had. Nothing hit the ground Good luc...

re: Damone Clark making his presence felt - TigerDM
Like several other before him, it takes a while to learn the discipline of playing linebacker. Guys like him, that are big and can really move, play all over the field in high school and generally just go after the ball. That is what kept Beckwith off the field so much for his first year and a hal...

re: TD Russell Sheppard! - TigerDM
Quit saying he was underutilized and realize that he knew that he was never going to be a NFL QB. If he would have taken the Pat White route, he could have been a really good college QB on an option team, but then wash out of the NFL immediately. He worked hard on learning how to play wide receive...

re: LSU All-Time Baseball Team (Cause we always do Football and Basketball) - TigerDM
The best thing about this team is once you get past our 3 retired number players and our next in Nola, there are so many choses and reality none of them are wrong because we have had the pleasure of so many great players over the years....

re: Joe Dean years at Lsu - TigerDM
It is amazing the lack of research they did on Curly. I have some Southern Miss fans that are friends and they told me at the time that the offensive coordinator, Jeff Bower, was the one responsible for the development of Favre and the team's success. This showed with his long, successful run as ...

re: “Ty Davis is huge, he looks like an upperclassman,” Worsham said. “John Emery has an extra - TigerDM
While Fournette and Guice were individually great back, I never viewed them as a great tandem because it was only one or the other. It was always Fournette, unless he was hurt and never both having great games, or a back and fourth from game to game. Guice and Williams were a really good tandem...

re: Who would take Jimbo for 2020? - TigerDM
Jimbo played A & M for fools. Despite better recruiting classes than Clemson, they were falling farther behind them and drifting to mediocrity. He got out and locked up a huge amount of guaranteed money before his reputation went completely in the toilet ...

re: Hearing good things about Tyrion Davis - TigerDM
While Guice and Fournette were both great backs, I never viewed them as a great combo, because you never saw them both play great in the same game. While they were on the team together, Guice only got significant touches when LF was hurt. I still consider Davis and Toefield as the best combo ...

re: A suggestion for Scott Woodward that can turn into a win-win for everyone - TigerDM
I think people are getting this all wrong. His problem was the system in place was bad and he eliminated it. TAF will continue to give large amounts of money to the university, there will just be a better system in place to take the place of a completely random system that was put in place...

re: Burrow running - TigerDM
Some guys are much less injury prone than others. Burrows appears to have all the toughness in the world, but I think Brennan is ready to run the offense if needed this year. Give lots of credit to Brennan and his parents for seeing the big picture, sitting and learning so he wasn't thrown to...

All these teams have black out games, I wish we had a purple out game. Team wears all purple and fans wear purple. It would work because women will wear purple, but most won't wear LSU gold....

re: Who had the best position change at LSU? - TigerDM
Josh Reed without a doubt, everyone else mentioned was going to see significant playing time at their original position. Reed was an undersized back with a slow first step, he would have never seen any significant playing time as a running back and became a 2 year all american and first round draft ...
