New Injury Update Reveals Potential Return Date For LSU TE Trey'Dez Green

LSU received another encouraging injury update on star tight end Trey'Dez Green, who suffered a scary knee injury during last week's loss at Ole Miss.
According to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz, the current hope is that Green will be able to return for LSU's matchup against Alabama on Nov. 7.
Green was carted off the field after injuring his knee against the Rebels, but testing later revealed that he avoided any torn ligaments and would not require surgery. He was diagnosed with sprains and bruising and was expected to miss multiple games.
A return against Alabama would give Green roughly six weeks to recover from the injury.
