Chambliss is damn good

True. And he'll get his. But Lane knows him inside and out, and his tendencies/weaknesses for Baker to exploit. I like the Tigers by 6 in a tight one.

I think Mississippi wins this game. It will be their most important home game since 2003. They will put everything into this game. It being an early season game in more beneficial to them since they return more key pieces. I am hoping to be wrong, but the fact is they should be good.

Gun to my head, I’d favor Ole Miss. They’ll be playing with more emotion. Most of LSU’s roster doesn’t give a shite about Ole Miss. This will be, by far, their biggest game of the year.

LSU offense may still be working things out in week 3.

The game rides on the shoulders of Chambliss and the back of Lacy. In my opinion this gives us a slight advantage.

Lane and Weiss Jr know Chambliss and there is an entire season of film on the guy. If anyone can help Baker scheme some contain, it’s Kiffin.

Also, Lacy has the good fortune /s to be coached by Frank. No one can frick up running back talent more than him.

Last year with the most anemic offense we have had after the Anthony Jenkins era, we were within one score. I do not see Golding out-scheming Lane in the coaches chess match. I am also not convinced Golding can manage the emotions going into the game. There is a fine line between being motivated to win and let the emotions of the moment take over (e.g, stupid penalties, mental distraction, etc)

I hope to see us on top of a game with a score much closer than the game was as Ole Miss plays desperation in the waning moments to get close, but fall short.

Their “home field” isn’t a major advantage.

You might end up being correct but this is a perfect example of someone who looks through purple and gold glasses only.

I’m usually pretty reasonable when it comes to LSU. I think losing Kiffin is nothing to sneeze at for ole miss. And I think we’ve been handcuffed by bad coaching thru the Kelly era. Maybe not terrible coaching per Se but def a team that hasn’t “bought in “
