I totally agree with OP. If Wright looked better, play him. Watkins was good and the other 2 weren't. Timing can get better but just because they were a good get in the portal doesn't mean they'll produce for us. If they can't get open let's move on.
I thought that was odd. Like shouldn’t you be pissed at the way you played all game?

Clemson is declining in want.
I wouldn’t know what it’d be like to dodge having to play tough opponents like Notre Dame or Alabama so just wanted to give you a chance to comment.
I understand Sankey blew this up with
a 9th conference game, but this sleight of games today really sucks the air out of the start to the season.
It really didn’t go our way much in the Brian Kelly era but would y’all rather be looking forward to an entertaining matchup today or is it smarter to just get that 3rd out of conference W?
When did we start arguing this. We have to roster them so just move on.

If added to roster they have not enough practice time if any to do any good in your game.
Dae’quan knows the terminology of the offense and has been practicing all week so I’m not sure where you get this from. Also it’s clear that the legal process was coordinated so they could be on the roster game 1.

Winning at what?

Winning 73.3% of the games :dunno:
The Jeremy Hill "team vote" brought the drama. And then Les still suspended him for a half :dunno:. Also the Honey Badger getting kicked off the team and watching the game from the stands was awful.
And all of them have a common thread...

Nah it opens the door for any player that was cut and can be signed under the 5 for 5 umbrella.

Given the precedence it would take almost zero time for them to get an injunction granted as well.
I'm glad we are in agreement. This ruling is for 15 or 17 players.
Actually the TRO is only for 15 players so it wouldn't mean anyone besides them are eligible.
It actually was the real recording of the tiger roaring live. That Mike was the GOAT.
Even when he was here he was "ahead of his time" in a paradoxical way but had he kept Crowton and had Perriloux not gotten hurt he may have kept rolling. If you look back at the 2007 National Championship game, we were running 2 different offenses. Crowton's shotgun and Les's I-formation, which I would wager was the primary reason Crowton left or was pushed out. It may have worked when they mixed it up and afterwards the toss-dive was effective for a few years, but teams figured it out and you needed a perfect defense.

He let Cam run the offense for a few games in 2013 but we still scaled back the pass due to our secondary being under-par that year. And even when we had Jamarcus and Mett we were sloppy and unprepared for a lot of games.
TCU inside the 10 down 5 late in the 3rd, in the rain, in a low-scoring game, but goes for it on 4th and 1 and gets stuffed. So naturally they end up having to go for it still down 5 in the 4th and throw an incompletion, losing the game by 5 points.

I think people forget that the analytics don’t care if you win the game or not. These veteran coaches grow up their whole lives knowing that if you’re down by less than 7 and you’re having trouble scoring that you should give your team a chance and take the points, but they bow down to their AI overlords and lose the game. I can’t take it!
Welcome to Mississippi, Set your eligibility back 1 year.
I wouldn’t say I have any confidence that our offensive line is championship worthy.
