My first game was also against Mississippi State, but in 1973. Mike Miley was the quarterback and we won 26 to 7. I was eight years old.

Mine’s was the 97 Independence Bowl…I was 15 years old … that bowl game felt bigger than all 3 nattys in the Superdome to me… for some reason I thought beating ND was the biggest deal in the world back then

My first game at Tiger Stadium, I was 9 years old, a tie against A&M, 7-7 in 1966. I can still remember looking at the scoreboard before we left the stadium, disappointed we had to settle for a tie, but from that point on, every Saturday night in the fall was about LSU for me!

I was 7 in 1957, LSU beat A&M behind Taylor and Cannon but all I cared about was when Dad was going to buy us more coke and peanuts. Plus, I hated wearing a coat and tie.

He probably got hit with an Orange Missile and never saw it coming because of THE MYSTERIOUS FOG THAT ROLLED IN DURING THE 2ND HALF. (One of my Top 3 GBFTL games in authentic Tiger Stadium)

Dude, that was Fla. St. with the fog and oranges flying, not the U of Fla game earlier in the year that the poster that you responded to was referencing.

My 1st game was my freshman year; 1983 against FSU. My paw paw had engineered parts of Tiger Stadium and the dorms; my mom had attended a year at LSU before finishing at LSUNO; but we never went to games and listened to every game on WWL unles there was a rare TV game.

That night I was amazed at Mike the Tiger, the Golden Band from Tigerland, the chearleaders...and then FSU wooped our butts. Didn't matter, Cross country teamate from Barbados introduced me and a buddy to weed later that night and all was goood. Bad year for football.

The next year Arnsparger, with the help of some Shaw freshmen, turned it all around.

Mine was 1991 vs. (#1) Florida St. TONS of rain in the 4th quarter. LSU, who was 3-3 (and not very good) going into the game, led after 3 quarters. FSU took the lead in the 4th, but LSU had a 1st and goal chance to regain the lead about midway through the 4th....they didn't convert.

1st game was Georgia in 2003, what a game to be my 1st one, kind of hard to top it, I've been to a few more but nothing compared to that one.

The day of my mother's funeral. Watched it on TV at my Dad's house afterward. Madre Hill ran all over the Tigers.

That game was miserable! My memory is fuzzy but I think one of my first games was against University of The Pacific in 1968.

Georgia Tech 1961, I was 8 years old. Tigers won 10-0. They had lost the opener, then ran the table the rest of the year.

My first LSU game was my freshman year at LSU. We opened at Washington and then had our home opener against Vandy.
