re: Best Game You Ever Saw Not LSU

I was in the sports section at Ceasers for the kick six. I never realized how deep the hate is for Bama till that night. The whole place exploded.
I had forgotten Chase dropping the easy TD catch, and then us blowing the FG right after. The total shellacking was even worse than the score indicated.
We have had an embarrassment of DB riches when you consider that some of the “runner ups” in this list, if they had played at another school, would probably be on their all time starting list, not just 2000s.
Was there to see LSU defeatTCU 5-0 on November 10, 1962, at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The scoring came via a safety and a field goal in a grueling defensive matchup that helped propel the Tigers to a 9-1-1 season and a victory in the Cotton Bowl.

I recently had an appointment at the Mayo Orthopedic Sports Clinic in Tempe (Phoenix), and the first thing you see in the lobby is Patrick’s autographed picture. A real class guy saying thanks to the doctors that helped him.

Georgia Tech 1961, I was 8 years old. Tigers won 10-0. They had lost the opener, then ran the table the rest of the year.

bigger than the gap with cowboy culture.
Just kidding of course. All joking aside, guys that call our games will have their hands full just trying to pronounce names, much less describe action.
I don’t dislike Mc - he just didn’t perform. Kelly is a different story- he went to pasture on LSU’s nickel, and I don’t know very many people that feel differently.
So happy to have gotten energy back in football and basketball. What a difference a few months makes!
On all the games I’ve watched, the highest seed has sat to the left of the scorer’s desk. That would be lower section 108. Since LSU is the high seed, our bench will be in front of 108. No guarantees, but I feel pretty confident. Call LSU to verify.
I see a bunch of tickets available on Seat Geek. Get on their app and search LSU Sweet 16. Perhaps other sites have tickets as well, but the tickets are definitely not exclusively on Ticketmaster.
Scoring at OU gymnastics is about as legitimate as no holding calls on Bama. Count on each just like death and taxes.

“Also, lately Grace Knox seems pissed off all the time, would hate to see her go.”

Sometimes intensity can masquerade as “pissed off.”
Yep, being there when Kelly went for 2 to beat Bama in OT, I said “thank goodness we’ve got us a great coach.” Boy that went south quickly.
New energy, new vibe, great time to be a Tiger.
His first year performance against Arky was one of the most dominating performances I’ve ever seen. Honey Badgeresque.

re: LSU 58 @ Texas Tech 82 Final - ESPN2

Texas Tech is not this good and we’re not this bad. Tough to be anybody when they’re that hot.
I’m not saying we are going o win the championship right away. I am saying the elite athletes we get will have the greatest chance to be open in space because of imagination on offense. I think that will create better defenses for us, because they will get overwhelmed in practice if they don’t step up. I’m optimistic things will dramatically turn around.
1. The Oregon opener in 2011 and
2. The Texas opener in 2019.

I feel like the sky is the limit and no one on this staff or team is going to be just mailing it in. Get ready for a run, folks!
