How much money do Corey and Frank make, and how much would they command elsewhere?
Pretty much every brand supports Dolby Vision except for Samsung who pioneered HDR-10 and HDR-10+ and won’t accept Dolby Vision.

Dolby Vision is proving to be slightly better and is hurting Samsung sales with discerning viewers.

An Apple TV 4K box is superior to all other versions except for the more expensive NVIDIA shield box. And the Apple box is full of good features and perks. It produces a gorgeous picture and is easy to set up and learn.

If you are thinking about an Apple box, wait until Feb. when the new version comes out.
The TCL 98QM8K was installed today. Looks great but it’s early. Still fiddling with settings.

Best Buy installers were fast and focused. No way I wanted to mount that 98 inch monster.

As said, I’m still fooling with picture settings but my Apple TV 4K box is sending a damn nice Dolby Vision IQ signal. Had to turn down brightness from 100 to 70 for now. Really really bright picture.

Only thing I’ve noticed, coming from my Sony OLED, is the TCL does not upscale inferior signals like the Sony. 1080p and 4K signals are fine though.

Over the air antennae TV looks nice also.

On a side note, those short, 4K, AI movies (Egypt-like and Medeval babes) that run on You Tube are eye-popping for sure.

More later as I get it tuned in.

Paid $2,999.99 for the QM8K.

Just had a TCL 98QM8K installed today. Looks great but it’s early. Still fiddling with settings.

Would be great to see A&M and Ole Miss go best-ever 11-1 and still never have gone to Atlanta.

That was from last night. I think from a Fla. source. Meh.
Agree, girl. But what Ole Miss and Florida fans don’t understand about LSU fans is this: We want Lane, yes very much so, but it’s not going to break our dear old Cajun hearts if we don’t. He’ll just be more Tiger bait.

You see, we have been to the mountain top as often as anyone not named Bama and know that there are several coaches out there that can do us a great job.

We’d love Kiffin but are not married to the dude. We’ve got babes lined up willing to land in BR.

And how do I know this? Quickly note that Sumrall, Dillingham, Fisch, Golesh, etc. have not signed with any teams, including their own schools’ extensions.

As long as Bama and Texas remain closed — we golden.
If Lane stays, he’d better sink some really deep roots in Oxford. Because no one else will take a chance on him again. He will be the Rebel version of Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz — a darn good coach but an eternal bridesmaid. Kinda like what he’s like with y’all right now — the Ferentz of the SEC

Just think what Ferentz could have done had he jumped to Ohio State or Michigan a decade ago.

I never thought A&M would get to Atlanta before Ole Miss. But here we are.

Go Dawgs!

I think Drink signed his extension Wednesday? So he’s thankfully off the table.

Either Sumrall or Dilly would be just fine with me. But who am I.

55/45 to LSU?

Still sounds like pretty good odds to me considering the road we’ve been down the past month.

That’s a 10-point margin of victory in politics. And college football is indeed politics.

Agree. Just don’t let him do the scheduling anymore.
I won’t melt over missing on Kiffin. But I might boil over who we settle for.

Verge had better hit a home run here or his young tour as AD will be quite short. If not Kiffin or Saban, he better have resurrected Lombardi. A fall-back Wilson or Baker hire could be immensely fatal.

That said, go Verge, land Lane!

IF LSU does not land Kiffin then I hope he goes to Florida for a simple reason. If he stays at Ole Miss, we face him every year. If it’s UF, then we face him 2 out of every 6 years under new SEC scheduling.
I thought he meant Chris Kiffin who is Lane’s little bro and a D coach on the Reb staff.
Hey CAD, I pulled the trigger today on the TCL QM8K 98” for $2999.99. Top rated 98-100 inch TV everywhere you check, including rtings.com.

I am traditionally a Sony/LG snob. But this might be the deal of the year.

Best Buy will on Monday install on wall, set up and then move and mount my current tv in master. Will report back after I get it in.

By the way, I’m still using the IPTV account you set me up with last year. But having a lot of wonky connections with Plex Media Server going to my main TV. May hit you up for some advice when I get the big 98” set up.

Thanks again.

I’m intrigued by Samsung but no Dolby Vision is a deal breaker for me only because I use Apple TV 4K box and have more than 500 Blu-ray and 4K discs to keep me happy.

As for $999 for a TCL 98”, I would highly discourage that regardless of brand or deal. TCL and Hisense are great TVs at their premium levels. And their mid-tier TVs at the 50-55 inch size are decent and worth it on sale.

It sounds like Ole Miss has already been in contact with Sumrall. If he prefers Ole Miss over Auburn he will wait a few days.

So Ole Miss is would be doing the same thing to Tulane which is firmly positioned to get the 12th playoff spot. Wonder how they would spin that hire.

Even this week’s installment of SEC Shorts is strongly suggesting he’s gone. Another funny one.
