His recruiting was outstanding. It was his game planning, his in game adjustments and leadership skills that sucked.

Mostly, it was his inability to hire competent coordinators.

I haven't seen him play but if he was starting over Chambliss, he has to be better than Van Buren?

Extremely low standard, but yes, absolutely.

The point is we can get a top tier quarterback to come to LSU to play for this staff. We don’t want to muck up that chance by settling for midtier talent..

Leavitt sucks. He can run, but he's highly inaccurate and he can't read defenses

Nonsense.
I think Leavitt is a Kiffin QB.

He’s cocky, he’s brash, and he can back it up.

12/5/25 is going to go down in history as a huge day in LSU history. Great recruiting news—-now this!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!

Sam Leavitt is far better than Austin Simmons. I hope we don't settle on Austin. He hasn't been "great". Leavitt can make all the throws and run when he needs to.

Brown is not having a ceremony today.

Brian Kelly takes over LSU and wins 10 games in his 1st and 2nd season and won the SEC West and played against Georgia in the SEC Title game.....again in his 2nd year after taking over a shite program. And you LSU fans are already saying Kiffin is excused if he goes 8-4 with a 25 million NIL bankroll and Kelly leaving the program with a winning record.....lmao. If Kiffin doesnt win 10 games in his 1st season...he's a frickin' bust.

No one is giving anyone a pass. The expectation is for Kiffin to win CHAMPIONSHIPS...something Kelly never did and something your boy now will never do.

LSU digressed in the past few years...the OL is a total mess and now are getting a new DC.

It took Saban a few years to get the team playing championship football. Kiffin will have us there in probably 2 - 3 years...

And you will still be remembering your old Irish--because you have nothing of recent memory to hang your hat on.

Notre Dame played two good teams this year....A&M and Miami. Lost both. Are you giving Marcus Freeman pass?
Signing day used to be where a player was going to spend the next four years.

Nowadays, it’s just where the player thinks he might spend his first year of college football.
I think he’ll be better than Bo Nix if he gets with Kiffin for two years. He can do everything necessary to be a great QB.

oo many old heads thinking recruiting is what it was. The portal can help us cover the areas where we're weak at recruiting. If frank wants to bounce, he's more than welcome to.

I think the Raymond smoke is legit that Kiffin doesn't want a sellout who helped Clark turn the players against O.

This is exactly right.

This is good news that its happening now. We can proceed like we don't have those guys and we can use the money (big $$$) that we were spending to get guys out of the portal.

Would I rather have those guys on the roster? Of course. But, we can't control what others do.

Kevin Smith is an infinitely better RBs coach than Frank Wilson. If HS recruiting takes a step back this year because of that, its what it is. We have a great staff, we'll have a great roster.

The arrows for this team are pointing way up.

Yeah listen to this guy.

Frick you, ya gd retard!

He’s your problem now

A "problem" you would love to have!

Frank Wilson bleeds Purple and Gold.

Not if he's telling players to wait to commit, he doesn't.

He's selfish. Let's not act like he's not.

Its off to a great start. Its forcing peoples hand on Day 1. If the DC gets promoted, good for him. If FW blows up, its okay. If Richard Anderson doesn't stick, it sucks--but it is what is.

This machine is moving at warp speed.

By Saturday, he'll know exactly what he needs for the coaching staff and what his priorities are in the portal.

And you'll be wherever it is you are with your thumb STILL up your arse.
Leavitt is #1 for me.

He’s much like Bo Nix.

gotta be Sam Leavitt...he's got two years of eligibility.

Hopefully we flipped Elijah Haven, and he's ready to ball out in his sophomore year.
