Hey, TigerFanatic99, you need to change your name. Any suggestions out there? Mine would be HopelessTiger99...

Do not lose the opener to USC, three in a row would be unacceptable. With the talent we have, CBK should at least make the 12 team playoffs. Record 10-2 or 11-1. But, could easily go 9-3 with losses to OM, OK and Bama. This would be concerning.

Winning game one and making the expanded playoff. No excuses.

Losing Jayden and our playmakers won’t be easy to replace

Remember last year when before the season when everyone wanted Jayden to be benched and people were already saying BTJ was a bit underwhelming given his recruiting ranking?

The offense is going to be just fine imo. You have a veteran QB, experience at tailback, a boatload of TE's, arguably the best O Line in the country and freak shows all over the place on the outside.

The defense just has to be competent, not great, competent.

I trust Baker, Peoples, Davis, Raymond & Olsen exponentially more than House, Jancek, Steeples & Cooks to field a defense that is at least not atrociously bad.

Brian Kelly hasn't won less than 10 games in a long time, so I expect that to continue.

I'm hoping for 11-1 or no worse than 10-2 with a playoff appearance.

Last off season my best all time take was that Jayden Daniels was so close to not only being good but being insanely good. He just needed to play with confidence and throw when he saw the wr and not hesitate and throw off his timing.

well my take this off season is that if Lacy can focus and catch more of those easy drops he can be a 1-2 rounder.

I really do think consistency and drops is all what’s holding him back.

Final four of playoff.
Just making the 12 team playoff isn’t good enough for year 3

A successful year 3 would be to be in contention for the playoff at the end of the regular season.

He’ll be fired with that record.

And if not, we’ll riot until he’s fired.

That should be the MINIMUM expectation at LSU every season.

My expectation is that 50% of Tigers will be rooting for QB#2. Just like every other year lol

(and admittedly had somewhat better circumstances when taking over)

Don't you feel like that is a bit of understatement?

Les walked into a goldmine, and O walked into a good situation where if he just changed the offense from dinosaur football, they were instantly better.

BK walked into an absolute disaster.

Tell me more about how Saban didn't recruit his last year here and Les was only able to sign 15 or so players his first year

Don't act like the FB program wasn't declining under Les in his last years. Etling and Brennan were our QBs and we had 5 offensive guards on the OL.

It's not like the program was Cadillacing along when either of the 3 took over for their predecessors.

However, my statement still stands, if BK is a better coach, he should do better. You can't trash former coaches for performance and hold the new guy to the same old standard if he's supposed to be better.

Just beat USC, and get that week 1 win. That will set the tone for the season.

Yep. ND/Big10 peeps justdon't get the SEC. They just don't get it. They're too cerebral. Like asking Electrical Engineers to fight hand-to-hand combat.

1. Don't lose the first game

2. Make the playoff. With the expanded field, there's no reason to ever be left out.
