didn't want Baker to stay at LSU because he's not an elite DC.

Awful take.

almost everyone standing around us that we talked to were there to see victor, including a few kids that went to his camp. They were stoked as you can imagine

I mustve been right next to you, i overheard a conversation on the floor about the camp before the show.
Top notch all around.

Victor Wooten is another plant as far as bassists go.
Talking heads and its not even close for me.

I saw neal francis the next night and enjoyed the hell out of it. My only issue was neals vocal mic was too low imo, but after listening to some of his other live shows, that seems like how he likes it.

Got ya the 3 we really wanna see are Childers, Kings of Leon and Nicks. Nicks is playing Saturday it is on her site. The other 2 acts just list the entire weekend but Childers plays in Dallas on Thursday. We would probably go 2 days do yall think they will be spread out or might I catch all 3 in a two day span?

Tyler plays first Saturday

Pretty sure little feat said they are retiring. Seems sus.

Edit: spring 2026 is their last tour and they are in texas around jazzfest dates.

Im starting to think that may actually be the lineup.

Jazzfest lineup is being officially released tomorrow.

Billy Strings. Had to look it up myself. He is an extremely overrated blue grass player. His a very talented guitar and banjo player, but doesn't create any new music of note. I don't like most blue grass so maybe i am being overcritical but the guy just doesn't do it for me.

I am NOT a bluegrass fan, one of my least favorite genres, but billy and his band rip live. Ill go see him anytime he is close to me. No nye run in nola this year, so more billy will have to wait for me.
