re: Managers: Do your employees take orders/criticisms well?
Posted by DeafJam73 on 7/26/24 at 12:26 pm
I get that reaction a lot. They’ll respond like I’m trying to get them in trouble. I’m not upset or stressed about the error. I’m just bringing it to your attention so everyone can have an easier work day. Nothing we’re doing is that serious. ...
I was with you until the end. Zero chance Durham redshirts
If Holly is able to play and Jackson grows into what we hope he can be, Durham might be able to redshirt. It just depends on how the season goes. But in this era, what’s the point? Let him play. ...

I’m hoping to hear some good developments on the defense. I have no doubt the potential of the offense is high. The big question for me is who will step up with Kyren in the receiving corp. This OL should really help with the execution of the offense. ...
Huge alumni chapter in Nashville. Lots of lsu fans will be around.
Good to know. I didn’t realize that.
I’m not sure why I’m getting downvoted. I’m only been to the state a few times. I’m not super familiar with the area. ...
Any LSU bars in downtown Nashville or surrounding area?

I’ll be in Nashville in October. I’m looking for a place to watch the game. ...
re: Ryan Day- Is it win it all or out? That's a lot of money.....
Posted by DeafJam73 on 7/24/24 at 10:38 pm
With Jim Harbaugh gone and Nick Saban retired, OSU has to be thinking championship game or bust. Not saying that is what will happen, but that’s gotta be the mindset....
re: Have your opinions/feelings on NIL and the portal mellowed out?
Posted by DeafJam73 on 7/23/24 at 12:02 pm
I still have my criticisms, but at the end of the day, I’m not a coach, player, admin or support staffer. All I can do is stop watching and buying merch if I really begin to dislike CFB. ...
re: Interestingly enough, Washington’s RB Johnson had 1200 yards (5.1ypg) and 16 touchdowns.
Posted by DeafJam73 on 7/23/24 at 10:30 am
Johnson was one of the best RBs last year. His performance in the PAC 12 CG was something. Never know how a player pans out, but he should be pretty damn good. ...
MLB.tv, are all of you really this new to the best brand of baseball offered on this planet?
Maybe some people don’t want to subscribe to another service just to watch one game....
re: Listening to previews of different teams, I heard this stat comparing LSU and Texas on
When you are scoring a lot it can drive that number up though as teams abandon the rushing game.
Yup. Opposing offense elevates their sense of urgency and passing offense, the defense has to be on the field more due to an efficient offense and will inevitably “give up” more yards. ...
re: Finebaum in midseason form, trashes Deion and Riley
Seriously? Are you factoring in their schedule to that because if so, that's pretty weak. For the hype surrounding them 4-8 was laughable last year. 6-6 this year would be equally laughable in year 2 and on a schedule any decent team would at least go 7-5/8-4 on.
Jury is still out on Deion. If he can get to .500, I think he’s doing a great job.
I think Lincoln Riley would make a great OC in college or the NFL, but unless he starts fielding a defense, he won’t win shite. ...
