Suspended for what my brother. What did Lane do wrong? Where did he break a rule? And I keep hearing people saying actively going after and recruiting pro players. Where is the proof of that other than some CBS article claiming that. there is no proof
you can't just punish somebody. You have to have some type of proof I would think. I haven't read all the SEC bylaws but what are you going to suspend him for?

Punished for telling kids who want to return that they’d need to pursue legal action/exercise their legal right against the SEC in order to be cleared to play? There were 44 plaintiffs in the suit and about ten of these cases around the country. Hardly a novel idea and certainly not vexatious or frivolous, as the La case and many of the others were successful.

By seeing how pissed off our school is, I don’t think he serves any kind of suspension. And I think the SEC is starting to see how nuclear this shite is getting. I’d expect everything to be dropped within the next few days. I do think though also that unless Sankey is fired, we will be doing some legwork to leave this conference.

Maybe LSU wounds do it before the SEC can? Try to create a better narrative on institutional control? We have before in other instances.

I think it’s bullshite too but that’s going to be the angle and I would bet he gets a suspension. I just hope we don’t have to deal with that and these kids did it all on their own or were encouraged by predatory attorneys like the good old days.

So the penalty if LSU rostered and played the players was 1/2 the season suspension for the coach but if you just considered it, then it is 3 games?

Ludicrous.

No suspension is coming

Suspended for telling kids to use the legal system to fight an injustice? What is this world coming to? I knew CLK was hated but its a different level level of hate I've never seen before

“If they say you can’t play just do what everyone else does when they are told no and get a lawyer.” This is worthy of a suspension? Lmao

Wright even said LSU was not the first school to make contact with him. It was Ole Piss!

Based on what?

The idea that people come up with a conclusion without doing any thought or work to arrive at said conclusion is still one of the most baffling things so-called intelligent people do.

No way Lane will be suspended. SEC needs to focus on the lawsuit coming from the players that were stopped from joining the conference.

FOR WHAT? He explored options, the NCAA facilitated with the 5 for 5 ruling, to improve his team just like any other quality coach would when you are competing for a national championship.

In the end, it proved not to be in the best interest of LSU. Moving on to the next victims La Tech and Ole Miss. "We'll see you soon...we'll see you soon."
