This reminds me of the Gump melt in 2000 because the refs made the correct call (awarding the ball to LSU on that one punt).
Refs should be thankful for Jumbo Tron, I have doubts if they would have made it out of TS intact if they kept the call giving Bama the ball on a muffed punt they didn’t recover.

Thanks. And I see now the title is South, so dumb question in this regard. Read too fast.
OP originally stated North Carolina, but then edited. You likely were reading correctly.

She's a decent poker player from what I've seen when she's on TV at the tables. She's getting a bit long in the tooth and looks nothing like she did when she was in "Let It Ride" with Richard Dreyfus and Teri Gar.
I haven’t watched the WSOP in a few years, but I just did a quick Google and she’s 67 years old and will be 68 in September, her being a bit long in the tooth is to be expected.

Apparently she’s still with Phil Laak and has a WSOP bracelet.
OP is averaging over 100 downvotes per hour on a Sunday afternoon. That’s quite the accomplishment.
Yeah, I don’t get those unis. Florida is wearing Gators and Louisiana is wearing Tulane? Yikes.

I’m fairly certain it was 26. Just fyi.

Speaking of ignorance, when’s the last time they enacted a draft? Young people have been making this argument for forever. It’s irrelevant. No ones getting drafted. “That could change”. Well when it does, you can come back and bitch about it some more.
Dude talks out of his arse with incorrect information and then doubles down. You’re what is wrong with this country. 250 years and 1 day is too long for some. And masquerading that actual facts are some young persons argument is juvenile at best. I served my country voluntarily, I have older family members and acquaintances that did not have a choice. Now kindly see yourself out.

there is no conscription. You volunteer for military service.

Therefore the issues aren’t related. Besides I Thought active duty could drink regardless. Just have to Present military ID.
Holy ignorance Batman.

US males are mandated by law to register with Selective Service at age 18. There currently isn’t a draft, but that could change and has in the past. Having a military ID under the age of 21 does not grant someone the right to drink under the age of 21.

Our age laws are some of the most archaic and random idiocy. You have to be at least 35 to be eligible to become POTUS. Go ahead and look at the Founder Father’s thread on this board and see how many of the actual authors of the Constitution would be eligible to be President.

Never heard of Kobe's.. i am Gen X.. my Laplace days were many moons ago .

Not sure about the car wash thing, but I thought the most obvious one would be Snake Farm... no clue if it's still there .
We’re probably close to the same age. I worked at Marathon in Garyville/Reserve prior to Covid. We would usually eat in Laplace for lunch and Kobe’s was a mainstay whenever we had the time. High quality Japanese, better IMO than Akari, which Laplace has as well.

The car wash thing was an inside joke for us. It seemed like there were 4-5 car washes just across the Walmart alone.

Laplace- Bull's Corner is our best restaurant .

Laplace- Dont worry, we are almost to Reserve.. We can dump the body there .
Is Kobe still open? Hibachi at Kobe’s used to be lights out.

Btw, you forgot the most obvious one:

Laplace - More car washes than actual cars.

Alexis Serna, thank you for your service.

I read OP And immediately thought of the OSU game.

This is not true.

Here is a preview of LSU @ Nicholls in Thibodaux from 2025 season the day before the scheduled game from LSUSports.net. It clearly lists streaming on ESPN+. Btw, LSU came back to win the game.
