Do the moral and right thing. The players are eligible per the court. They want LSU and we can use them.
SEC even acts ugly or disrespectful to LSU , threaten a winnable suit over disadvantage to LSU following the various courts orders.

Dillinger is wrong. The SEC is already under a show-cause order in the Louisiana case and has to explain to the judge why they violated the initial TRO by implementing rules directly against it after the TRO had been issued. If these players get the injunction, they will be 100% protected from every angle of retribution by the SEC and Sankey.

I’ve been explaining this to melty Ole Miss fans all week on X. Feel vindicated- not that they will stop melting. It is a top five LSU related melt in the last quarter century.

I thought of that "record only" penalty also but once again, the ONLY time I can remember of wins being vacated are in extreme cases involving criminal acts (see Joe Paterno) or players were AT THE TIME they played found to be ineligible (see Vadal Alexander). The SEC will not be able to vacate wins when these players were ELIGIBLE under the rules/law at the time. Alexander did not meet that criteria for example.

No dude, the law is what the judge dishes out. Sec can't legally do anything, and specifically punish programs/coaches....and damn sure can't do it retroactively. Hopefully you've figured that out by now while throwing your insults.

Unless a court overturns the TRO. Rarely happens, but it can. Won't matter if the judge ultimately issues a permanent injunction. Which is the preferred outcome. None of that stops me from having my own little catastrophe syndrome regarding the courts.

What about the Mississippi judge the granted Chambliss his 6th year to play because of a sore throat? Don't be a little bitch about the same state judge. If you were intelligent, you'd be blaming the NCAA for all of this. If they gave a blanket judgement to begin with, we wouldn't where we are. Excellent use of that GIF. Upon further review(no, I am not Moscona), that can only happen if the TRO is expressly overturned by another court, which seldom happens.
I did see that the NCAA is trying to do something like that (use the rule of restitution) in the Louis Moore case in Texas. Moore played for Indian last season under a preliminary injunction, then filed a notice of nonsuit after the season was over, effectively dropping the suit. It looks like the person in the article doesn't think they will end up winning, but I may be reading that wrong.

I was pondering yesterday if the big issue is going forward to prevent this happening every year. Players play 4, go to NFL draft, go undrafted, sign UDFA, get cut, come back for 5th yr...
It is not hard to see the 2022 class getting left out or downright screwed depending on your feelings about it but this going on in perpetuity is not what I imagined. I feel it is fair that once you declare 3rd or 4th yr you are done.
