This weekend is not a game to bring your kids, too much shite that can happen.
I’ll say this though, first road game my dad took me on was about that age and it is a great memory if LSU wins.

Yeah we have been twice and will never go back. They are douchebags normally. I can only imagine this year.

Why even take that chance with your 12 year old? All it takes is one drunken idiot, of which Ole Miss has many, to ruin the whole night. The kid probably won't enjoy himself considering the environment they'll be walking into.
I get it, but I also realize that there will be an increased police presence and a majority of Ole Miss fans are still decent human beings. I've been going to LSU games my entire life and I've never seen a fan of an opposing team treated poorly with their kids present. If I had, I would be the first one to tell my fellow LSU fan that to knock it off.
Again, have thick skin and be willing to ignore the assholes that you'll come across and you and your kid will be fine.

Sad to say. Unless you wear neutral colors, I'm just not sure I'd do it. You'll hear too much shite said to your kid, which is unacceptable. Full disclosure, LSU fans, unfortunately, do the same ....

my 15 yr old went to clemson game, he was in concourse area sort of up against a wall, and this short drunk middle aged frick face comes and starts deliberately forearming into my son. My son literally had to take his arm and shove him off of him, this the a-hole was staring him down like he wanted to do something about it to a fricking 15 yr old boy. piece of fricking shite person.

Ole Miss has their fair share of douchebags, but Gainesville is head and shoulders above them. I’ve been a handful of times and it’s always a fight being picked when we’d enter the stadium.

It will be bad. i would not be bringing children to this game. Hell some adults may need bullet proof/knife proof vests.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't bring my kids to this game. I don't expect anything to happen, but I would expect expletives and vulgarities to abound, plus there are going to be some morons out there, so the chances of something happening is never zero. Considering the circumstances, the odds are probably higher than normal, and having a kid with you will probably make and LSU fan more susceptible to ending up in a less than ideal situation.
Some people are cowards and will make themselves feel better by bullying a kid. I wouldn't put my daughters through that. It won't turn out well for anyone.

Amongst LSU fans visiting Oxford is already known as one of the least hospitable places you could visit. Dial up the emotions about 50 times in this game, and you have the makings of trouble.
I'm not saying 100% of LSU fans will come back with bad stories, but many will.

Y'all are weak. It's a football game, no one is getting stabbed. Yeah it will be hectic and their will be cussing.......... It would also be a fun experience.

First off, tell him not to smart off or open his mouth to anyone. I've seen a many of dude get into some shite because either their lady or kid was saying some shite they didn't need to be saying. This is not a game to bring women and children to honestly. I'd get in the stadium early, try to avoid the big OM tailgating areas as much as possible.
