Any tips... bringing my 12 yr old son to the game for his bday, first timers!

So I basically have grown up in tiger stadium (first game at 3 yrs old) and I've been to a dozen or so away games and bowl games, but never VH/grove.
I know its going to be ridiculous, but if anyone has some general tips on where to park and a decent strategy to hit the highlights walking around campus for 2-3 hours before kickoff, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm fully prepared for my vehicle and its LSU license plate to be vandalized, but I'm hoping I can make it back to Jackson without sand in my gas tank.
Geaux tigers. Good guys win, as of now my prediction is: LSU 31, OM 19.
Our defense is easily the best unit in the game. They control the tempo and dictate field position. Limiting OM to field goals and only one score. Dilin Jones one ups Lacy and has two TDs and over 120 total yards.

Not the game I would bring my 12 year old to...
As sad as it is, I believe that's going to be an exceedingly dangerous atmosphere for LSU folks...win or lose.
Good luck.

If you’re talking about the Ole Miss game in Oxford? Don’t!
It will not be a place for any kids, quite honestly.

I hear ya, but I was able to get tickets at cost, too good of an opportunity to pass up.

i can see ole miss throwing beer/drinks at you.
i honestly can't see any ole miss fans wanting to throw a first punch for no reason.
they are bunch of frat vaginas.

If you do go, would love for you to come back and give us a rundown of how it went.

Will do. Not planning on spending the whole day out there or anything. Just hitting the highlights for a couple of hours and then heading to the stadium.

If your dead set on going, as bad as it probably sounds and looks on here id probably wear neutral color at best. And would stay sober and aware.

Don't listen to them. If you're planning on drinking and being an arse, then yes, you are going to get all the trouble you ask for. If you have a 12 year old with you, are respectful, and don't respond when antagonized, you'll be fine. Some people will likely yell mean things, nothing a 12 year old hasn't already heard. Just be an adult and ignore it and go enjoy the game.

Some are acting as if it will be raining fists from the moment you step on campus

Better wear Ole Miss colors until you get into the stadium and then change into your LSU clothes for the game.

Does he play little league football?
Tell him to wear his helmet.

Take a buddy instead. Bring your son to Tiger Stadium for any other game.

Then go with a friend or someone like that.Bringing a 12 year old to this game as LSU fans is borderline child abuse.
