Quit putting women in commercials.

Problem solved.

Love it. Good good is for figs and truly encompasses everything wrong with the game and what needs to be shrunk.

I don't understand the outrage

Domestic violence is bad - I didn't think the ad promoted it

Huh? Callaway is cutting ties….

This had to go through Callaway first.

GoodGood isn't putting out an ad for a Callaway driver without it being blessed by Callaway.

I think the ad was dumb and poorly made, but the reaction to it is crazy imo.

So now parody doesn't exist in the world? It was a play on the movie Obsession. It was dumb and not even remotely funny but in no way is it "promoting" domestic violence. You could actually tell someone with a straight face that that commercial is promoting domestic violence?

Did I say it was?

It was a horrific ad because 99.99% of people had no clue what the frick they were trying to do

It looks obvious Calloway and others were looking for an out with Good Good and this was it

Then why ask what was it promoting to a guy saying it wasn't promoting dv?

Agreed. One of the worst ads I've ever seen.

Nah. They were releasing a Good Good version of their Quantum line. They were expanding what they were doing with them if anything. But certainly looks like they will look for an out now because stupidly this is only getting worse. Although Target and Dicks/Golf Galaxy dropping them is not surprising.

Good Good should've apologized for making a bad ad, but not for anything that would insinuate that it promoted domestic violence.

"We apologize for releasing an ad that was pretty lame and wildly misunderstood. GoodGood has never promoted violence in any shape or form. And this ad didn't promote it either."

I’m seeing that Costco pulled all Callaway products from their stores and website now.

Over reaction on this whole thing is crazy.

I can’t wait for AI to truly discover the “worth” of a YouTube view

I think it’s exponentially overvalued and I think many companies are starting to see that. It’s purely been valued on engagement metrics with no real thought what those metrics mean

Indifferent on the apology.

I believe they are getting hammered to harshly over this. We live in a time period where there is no such thing as playing around or joking, everyone takes offense to everything (Soft Generation).

However, when he tried to justify it and say that Good Good does a lot for women's golf with their "good good girls" channel that's where I roll my eyes. Yes i get it.. in front of a camera you can say those things and it sounds great, however behind closed doors the purposes of that channel being created was to draw a different group of people to watch their content, not to "grow the game of women's golf" More Views=More $

They used it as an excuse to get out of the deal with a terrible brand #ShrinktheGame
